We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyThey charge an extra fee that must be payed in cash and left in the room when leaving. They make you believe that it’s the tourist tax but that’s a lie. The tax Venice is asking from tourist is payed already when you stay in the city. That extra money is surely for the cleaning service which in my opinion should be included in the cost. Not added on top.
It’s very well located and clean. There was no contact with any owner or receptionist. We got to the location, were given a code to open the door and in the reception we found an envelope with our name with the keys to the room.

BelgiumBeds and pillows were quite uncomfortable for the price we paid, everything is a bit broken and malfunctioning. Since there is no longer a reception you have to call a number which I called twice where the last time I received an answer in a somewhat rude tone to be told that it is no longer possible to leave the suitcases on the day of departure or arrival. Which would be understandable if the price were lower. Furthermore, this last colleague on the phone gave a completely different answer compared to the colleague from two days before who had said there would be a possibility.

CanadaFalse advertising, it says it's a hotel, it is not. They are rooms above a restaurant. Location wasn't bad but need to go over two bridges with luggage and no ramp. Room was hot, had several spider webs with spiders and lots of mosquitos. A TV control was left for us, but no TV. An AC unit was in the room but no AC control. Worst part, there was no attendant, and you need an access code that was never provided to us to access our room. When we called the owner he insisted he sent it to us and said he was too busy to look for it, so we stood in the rain for 30 minutes trying to find this email with the access information. No email was sent todate. We also had no WiFi because I'm assuming the password was in this email he supposedly sent. He was very rude and wouldn't give me the access code for 30 minutes. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
