Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Andrea and Laurenza were wonderful, very helpful. The room we stayed in was right above an automotive repair shop so we could hear the workers around 0730. Sometimes work continued after 5 or 6 pm. This wasn't too bad since we were getting up to hike and explore the area.and usually out the entire day. Close to restaurants, shopping and very close to beautiful beach.

Everything we wanted. Clean, central and even had a little terrace to have our coffee in the morning. The owner was very helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a good one

Great location, short walk up a gentle hill from monterosso al mare. 10 min walk to station. Clean room with air con and fridge. Our host was great and had lots of tips on the area and hikes. Would stay again!!

Nothing we liked everything
Location close to everything and also very quiet and peaceful at night. Andrea is an excellent host and he has developed a program in multiple languages with all the information regarding trains, restaurants, walks etc. very helpful.

Room was on the small side but workable.
Andrea was fantastic with excellent advice and recommendations. Location was ideal, close enough to everything but far enough to be quiet. Great shower! Cold fridge. Beach towels available.

It was super clean and cozy. The Host Andrea was so welcoming and provided clear instructions and recommendations of things to do, where to eat and what to see. I had an upgrade of my room it was better that what I have initially booked.

There was nothing I disliked. Some may find the bathroom a little small.
Andrea sent great instructions on how to find the premises prior to arrival. It was wonderful to be greeted and checked in by a real person. At check in, Andrea gave very detailed instructions on how to gain access, explained and demonstrated idiosyncrasies of the room, eg how to open windows, use of hair-dryer. Very comfortable and pleasant stay.

The host was great and super helpful. He helped us around places in Monterosso as well. Room was nice and clean but very small. It was a little away (in comparison to other stays that we saw) from train station so a little difficult if you are walking with bags but was manageable.

The room was small as described but large enough. Room for all the necessities and even a desk/dining area. Great to have a clothesline. Extensive info from host on the area: restaurants, train and bus schedules, walks ... Just an all around great place and in a quiet area.

Room just a little outdated, and not sound proof.
Location was good, easy to walk to with luggage from train station. Host Andrea was very lovely and friendly, leaving a lot of instructions to help us. Even lent us beach towels. High pressure shower, clean room.
