Andrea was so warm and welcoming. He gave us all the information we needed to enjoy Monterosso and Cinque Terre. He was the perfect host. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Andrea for a fantastic stay.

I was very happy with my stay and had no problems. Room was comfortable and location was great. What stands out is the owner Andrea, who was probably one of the friendliest people I've ever met, just very warm and welcoming. Had some great advice about the area as well.

Albergo Al Carigio is very well located and the room was great but that’s not even the best part : Andrea is a very lovely and caring person that you only meet few times in your life. He’s very welcoming, smiling and always see the bright side of the life. He has spent hours to welcome you in the best conditions and will be available in case of any trouble. You can feel how dedicated and passionate he is and we cannot be more grateful. Strongly recommended.

Location is in the old town, but only 10 mins walk from the train station. The room is slightly on the small side, but the bed is memory form bed, which is super comfortable, especially after a busy day. The host is very helpful with providing information about the town. He has a pdf file with all the information for the guests. He even helped clarifying and selecting the right train to Montrosso and Milan for me.

Location- This property is about 10 mins away from the station. Great location as it's close enough to get about, there's a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, but also it still feels residential. Room- My room was very large and had a large double bed, bathroom, TV, fridge, desk and wardrobe. Very clean and had all the usual conviniences. The best part of the stay though was Andrea the owner and his dog Blue. He was ever ready for a chat and had loads of recommendations of what to do, where to eat etc. This was not only my most authentic stay, but also my favourite part of my Italy trip.

From the moment we checked in with Andrea and Blue with his personable and professional manner to our check out any questions or recommendations that we needed were given with a smile. Blue was a bonus as we missed our dog and blue was so sweet and allowed us to pet and love on him. We would recommend this accomodations with the highest Mark's and Monterosa was a lovely and quaint location!!

This hotel is at the end of town, so it is just a bit longer walk from everything than I would have liked, but if you are hiking, it is very near the trail.
Andrea made us feel right at home. He waited for us when our train was delayed to check in and helped us up the steps with our bags. He was also really helpful worth restaurant advice etc. We loved having a window above the street and a nice patio to relax in.

the property felt like a little Italian apartment, it was beautiful, quiet and was located only a 1 minute walk from some of the best restaurants and wine bars. Also the host Andrea was absolutely incredible, he was friendly and very nice and had a really cute dog that always sat with him in the front desk area, he was truly the ideal host. I will be sure to recommend everyone stays here when they are in Monterosso.

I think noise levels could be improved very easily by putting a cheap seal all around. Now you hear a lot from the other rooms and the corridor.
The owner is extremely nice and helpful. He also has the cutest puppy! The room gets extremely dark, which is nice for sleep.

There really wasn't anything that we didn't like. This hotel was a very good value. Even thought the room was small, it had everything we needed. Most European hotels are small but hey, that is the charm you are looking for!
The room was clean and comfortable. Location was in a quiet area of the old town. Only a short walk to the hustle bustle of the city center. Andrea was the perfect host and concierge. He went out of his way to make our stay more enjoyable. Even picked up our laundry which was just two doors down. Oh, and Blue his new puppy was the perfect watch dog!
