The communication was a little bit hard since the staff didn't speak English that well. And the bathroom sink had a quite bad smell.

The location is good, very close to the train station Genova Brignole. Besides that the room is quite big.

the room had one too many mirrors and there was a slight smell in the hotel (an amalgam of cold cigarette smoke and cleaner). however, this did not diminuish our stay, and we'd gladly come again.

amazing hotel with shabby-chique atmosphere. staff was really friendly and helpful. did our laundry for us and explained to us in great detail the little-known good places. we were also taught the local way to have a cappuccino and focaccia breakfast. we had a great time in Genova staying at Albergo Astro. the cozy dog Balu was our personal highlight. quiet during the night and with working airconditioning and fridge.

No wifi in the room. Although it was mentioned on the website. We alsof Found ants in the room (and no we didn't bring any food).

A little dark but not a problem:)

Amazing location. The staff was really Nice, and our room was Nice and clean. A little dark in the room, but otherwise than that, we could not have asked for more. Perfectly working AC and the hotel, and area, felt Nice. Would recommend anytime.

Small rooms, no glasses in the room, no air conditioner (but we did have a fan).

Location good, located on the top floor (5th) on a busy street, but wasn't loud. Staff is Italian, not much english spoken Beds are confi, but was a bit cold durig the night Breakfast typical Italian, sweet cakes, coffe. Check in / out straightfwd.

Albergo Astro is a hotel with a great location, in the main street of Genova, 10min walking from the main square. We stayed with our dog and the staff was so kind, they gave her dog cookies, cuddles and we felt very welcomed. Even though it's on the main street, there was no noise from the cars or fireworks (we were staying there for New Year's Eve). The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. Highly recommend and we'll for sure come back!

The room that i was given was smaller than the pictures. All the rooms of the hotel are on the same floor, however, the room that i was given was in the loft/roof with a special stairs access. This room is not appropriate. If you get room 19, don't accept it!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great. Everything is close by.

Room 16 was not the cleanest, the windows were old and had gaps that let in tons of mosquitoes that tortured us all night. Former guests killed them with dirty shoes. You could see the shoe pattern and mosquitoes blood splattered on the walls. That should have given us a clue. I guess we probably could have asked to get a different room, but we didn’t. I tried to close up the gaps at the window with toilet paper so not more mosquitoes could come in. Bathroom only had a folding door, so they kept coming into the room.

It was very close to all the tourist attractions we wanted to see. The hotel rooms are all on the 5th floor of an interesting building. The staff was very friendly and they went out of their way to help us with finding parking. Everyone was very friendly. Simple breakfast of packaged toast, jam, fruit juice and coffee was included.

So uncomfortable room,with mirrors on every wall(it wasn’t mentioned in booking) also I didn’t had balcony as promised. Stuff took from me additional charge for tourist tax as i was told even do i already paid all in app.

Stuff were good,i liked position and price, included Italian breakfast in the morning.
