If I have one quibble, it would be that I wish the telephone shower were more easily adjustable. I am a small person, and reaching the shower head to adjust it was impossible for me. This is a very small complaint. There are so many things to really really like about this hotel.

I like everything about this hotel--friendly reception, good information, quiet room, nice breakfast with attentive coffee service; fabulous location.

There was nothing not to like !

The room was impeccably clean and the location was great! Close to the train station as well as a main shopping street. The staff were friendly and the breakfast whilst simple , was more than adequate for me!

What an amazing location! Charming decor with a fresh feeling, incredible air conditioned rooms with small terraces, an amazing breakfast, and the most welcoming staff. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I was trying to come up with reasons to prolong my stay so that I could enjoy the hotel even longer. To my mind, the value of this hotel is unbeatable in Bologna.

The single room was horrible, extremely small, one single bed and no space to move around, it looks like a cave transformed into a room. Very claustrophobic. The bed was very uncomfortable, no privacy as you hear absolutely everything from the neighbours, even intimate moments. 80 + euros per night for a cupboard is a total scam. It s a pity because the staff was nice and position is great. I will never recommended it to anyone.

I have lost count of the number of times I have stayed at this hotel. I would have to dig to find something not to like about it. The staff are friendly and accommodating and very well organized. There is always fresh fruit and yogurt, along with the usual pastries and cold cuts, for breakfast; coffee is made to order, and the service is personal and attentive. Rooms are comfortable; the system for air-conditioning without waste is excellent and effective. Towels are plentiful although not very thick. The telephone shower works well. WiFi is easy. The hotel also has a common room with a computer that is made available to guests. The location is superb: a quiet street just a stone's throw from the Via dell'Indipendenza and an agreeably easy walk to the train station. The front desk is attended 24/7, and the staff are unfailingly pleasant and knowledgeable . It really doesn't occur to me to consider trying a different hotel. If I were to make one suggestion to guests it would be to clarify needs regarding accessibility: although there is a lift, some of the rooms are reachable only with a few additional stairs up or down. While the staff are quick to try to re-accommodate, this is not always immediately possible, as the hotel does fill up. So accessibility wishes are probably best made at the time of reservation.

Minor things : Like many Italian properties there were a few extra stairs to reach the room! Our bathroom had a shower over the bath, rather than a walk in but I’m sure you could request a walk in if it’s important to you!

The location was really good, close to the station and close to the centre. It was more ‘hotel’ than our other accommodations with 24 hour reception, lovely staff and a good breakfast. Rooms were basic and simple but spotlessly clean. Beds are firm (which was our experience everywhere we stayed.) We like a firm mattress but if you like soft and squishy you will be disappointed!

The walls are so thin you can hear the phone vibrating from another room, facilities are also outdated, bed is uncomfortable, found hair in the bath too. I would also provide guests with slippers.

my Room 127 - it had no low windows, the windows were high up making the small room feel a bit claustrophobic, but to be fair it was still quite light. I’m sure most other rooms wouldn’t have this problem, this was the last available for our stay. Fine for one night
