Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Bosnia and HerzegovinaA cute, vibrant little hotel right next to the highway, perfect for an overnight stay in transit. It has everything you need—towels, a hairdryer, and toiletries. Everything is clean, tidy, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is quite good, with a choice between a savory or sweet option. Local markets offer great deals on Italian products.

NetherlandsNothing really!
We felt very comfortable with the manager serving the buffet breakfast because it is so much more hygienic. Moreover he was eager for us to try all the cakes, the local Genovese pizza, the toasts.....everything of high quality served. We could also park our car-van as they have a lot of parking space. The hotel is in front of a restaurant famous for his beer and we had a lovely dinner. Arriving with the ferry in Genoa late in the evening, we couldn't find so many hotels with parking, convenient, quiet and already on the way to Milan highway. This was a surprise, better than the description and we'll keep it in consideration for the future and for a couple of days The hotel and the brewery have their own charming history. Plus the surroundings have also much to offer in history and walks in nature....

PortugalTrucks' noise. Again, owner cannot do nothing about this. We were lucky to have room on the other side of the road, thus noise didn't disturb our peaceful sleep.
Hotel shows its age, but staff are certainly doing their best to make guest's stay as comfortable as possible. Comfortable beds, free parking and an excellent staff attitude made our stay very good and we will certainly be back. Located just several hundred meters from the highway.

GermanyEnrico in reception was fantastic and sorted out everything for us so quickly. The room was tidy and traditional Italien and very clean. The recommendation to eat at the brewery restaurant just across from the hotel was ideal for our short stay. Super close to the motorway got the trip home but out of busy Genoa. The lady who served breakfast was also so nice and friendly

United KingdomThe only negative I would mention is that the room didn't have a kettle, but the host was gracious enough to get us hot water from the coffee machine.
The host was absolutely amazing, really helpful chap. The hotel is clean and really close to the main highway (autostrada) so its great for a pitstop on your way to Cinque Terre or beyond. The breakfast offered here was amazing with fresh focaccia, cheese and ham plus some local made cakes. The pub/trattoria in front of the hotel was one of the best we've been to in Italy with really amazing local beer "Busalla Birra", good food and amazing staff. The trattoria looked like its a local favourite. Our host at albergo birra even got us a 10% discount at the trattoria. Although we only stayed for one night, we will definitely remember this place.

United KingdomWe received a very warm welcome at the albergo and we were given a free coffee! The proprietor recommended the restaurant adjacent (which is part of the brewery) and we were not disappointed. Great beer! It’s great have individual service instead of the impersonal reception you receive at the big hotel chains.

Germanythe city close by with petroleum factory
we accommodated just 1 night, after arrival with the ferry from Palermo in Genua in the evening. 1 night recovering before making the rest of the journey home to Germany. for this it was the perfect accommodation. 25min from harbour and directly at the highway exit. we had our dog with us (30kg) which was no problem for them. a jut strange is a petroleum factory very close by, where a huge flame was burning all day long at the top of a big chimney. For real vacation we would choose another place. but for our case it was more than ok.

Perfectly located for visiting the Casella Genoa railway, and just off the autostrade. Enrico was more than helpful and made us very welcome. Comfortable room and good breakfast. The Albergo is part of a working brewery with an excellent restaurant on the same site. Lovely food with excellent service.
