Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBreakfast was a bit odd, it was either sweet, which was 3 cakes, or salt which was pizza, a sandwich and a pie. All of which seemed like leftovers from the day before. It came with juice and a hot drink. Unpleasant smell when we turned the jacuzzi jets on
Ideal location for the opera. About 25 minutes walk from train station but there is a bus most of the way. The staff were very nice. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning made it easy to sleep. Very quiet. Nice bar with good price drinks. Jacuzzi under bed was unusual

United KingdomRooms need tlc. Following comment is nothing but advice: This hotel is over a mile away from the train station and nearly as far to the bus station. Taxis are hard to get and very expensive (to railway station it was €30. Due to the heat is a long hard walk. I would seriously say you need a car as there is nothing local to see. In better temperatures it wouldn’t be too bad to walk to the railway station or bus stops as the busses have great links to all the major cities and are great value. Only downside was on our last morning we told lady we had a taxi booked for 9am (we arrived 8.25 for breakfast). We were first in the restaurant, others came in and were served first even though we ordered first and it was a cold breakfast. We had to ask reception to remind her that we needed to get going, any other day this would not of been a problem.
Excellent views, great staff at reception. Room was nice but due to the heat 33-35 degrees we were unable to use the outside room which came with room 2. Cleaning lady was great!. Fantastic for the Puccini operas, it’s a two minute walk to inside the auditorium.

RomaniaSo many candles all over the room and the bathroom. I understand they were there for a romantic atmosphere, but it's a little bit too much. No full size mirror and the shower was kind of small.
Location is everything: exactly on the lake, next to the Gran Teatro. Also very close to a bus stop, from where we took a bus to the train station. Staff was very nice. The breakfast was also good, we had coffee, juice and we could choose between a salty and a sweet one. It's not a buffet breakfast, but I found it enough and enjoyable.

BelgiumInitially, there was an issue with the curtain in the bathroom but the staff resolved this for us as soon as we reported it.
The hotel is located in a beautiful area, very close to the lake. The staff was extremely kind, and we felt super welcome. Breakfast choices were between sweet (cakes and a croissant) and savoury (sandwich, small pizza), both very tasty.

United KingdomSmall room with too much clutter - no where to put anything, particularly as staying a few nights. Sleep disturbed with flashing lights from tv, smoke detector, aircon unit, entrance light etc etc. Random noises from tv as if short circuiting & noisy aircon unit. Bed not easily accessible - steps up to high rise bed with wide wooden surround. Nowhere to sit and relax. Poor transport links, no airport / train pick up, no bus tickets sold, no help with directions or information.
Fantastic location, close to the opera and beautiful scenery. Interesting selection of breakfast items. Most staff friendly and attempted to speak English. Very accommodating with dinner table when no reservation made. Lovely balcony which was possibly bigger than the room.

Lovely small hotel right on the lake , staff were very friendly, room was very quirky and clean , nice terrace with Great Lake views (room 101) we ate in the restaurant on the first night, serving staff were very polite and informative of menu options. Several car parking spaces which was very nice. Just across the way was the Puccini home/ museum and of course the open air theatre. A trip to Pisa is well worth it.
