Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe lift was very loud and we heard it bang each time it was used. It could be a little noisy at night with people in other rooms, it wasn’t very noise proof,
Breakfast was fantastic, great selection and proper Italian coffee and orange juice! Staff were friendly and spoke good English, helped us when our room key didn’t work initially and solved the problem quickly. Close to the train station for transport.

HungaryThe neighbourhood was full with migrants. Even tough it looked like safe but feels miserable especially after 9 pm.
The typical Italian breakfast was delicious and inclusive. The best were the croissant and the capuccino. The stuff was so kind and helpful. The parking was very comfortable.

BelgiumBreakfast is enough but rather limited, but for the total price you pay, it’s satisfying. For dinner we needed help of the staff to find an appropriate place. The albergo is not in the city centre or in a touristic neighbourhood, help of someone who knows the neighbourhood is welcome.
Nice place to stay overnight on a journey to the south of Italy, certainly when you want something more than just a hotel near the highway. Very good quality-price relation, very friendly staff, they explained where to have dinner, what we could visit,…

CanadaThe staff were gracious, helpful and fun to interact with. Breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel if you want to be a little off the beaten track. It was still easy to catch a bus to the city area of Ancona.

United KingdomWas quite a trek to the old town which would be resolved by asking which bus to take (bus station around the corner!)-No drink making facilities in room but coffee sold in reception and two bottles of water left in room.
Reception staff were lovely, sorted me out with 3 pin plug(NB) and let me drop off rucksack at about 9:00 (in from port early). Area multi diverse and different experience to old town.

PolandWhile the service excels, the same cannot be said for the room aesthetics. The furniture shows signs of wear and tear, contributing to a slightly dated ambiance. Additionally, the view from the window fails to impress, offering little to no visual appeal. For those seeking picturesque surroundings, this aspect of the accommodation may be a letdown.
The hotel on the outskirts of Ancona boasts a commendable staff, characterized by professionalism and friendliness. From check-in to daily interactions, the personnel's dedication to guest satisfaction shines through. The breakfast spread is a highlight, offering a delightful start to the day with a variety of options to suit different tastes.

Czech RepublicThere is a railway, so expect some noise. The place also doesn’t offer baby cribs, so bring your own if traveling with a baby that sleeps in their own crib. We had our baby in our bed and it worked very well.
This place everything we needed for our short 1night stay. They accept dogs and offer a nice breakfast with eggs and a good cappucino. You can park right in front of the place. Great hotel if you don’t need fancy amenities.

United KingdomThe garage was tiny and we struggled to get out and scratched our car which kind of dampened our stay a little. Not the hotels fault it’s a parking garage for small cars only. Area doesn’t look great but we found a great pizza place nearby for €5 so can’t complain;)
Great little hotel. Lovely staff and very clean. Everything was delivered to a high standard and even the breakfast area was spotless serving a limited choice but excellent products.
