A notice even on the door to the terrace would have been helpful.
Found hotel very good value for money, comfortable as a base to explore Cinque Terre and a great location for spending evenings in Monterosso. Getting discount via the hotel for the Cinque Terre walking trails was an extra bonus.

Monterosso al Mare is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend this hotel. The town does gets extremely busy during the day with so many people at the beach but at night, it has a completely different vibe and was just so lovely walking around and enjoying every minute of our time there. Downtown rail station is convenient and not far from the hotel.

They just pointed us to board but we did not see the discount available. Also the directions to get there were not the best. Go THRU the tunnel, stay left side of church and veer left thru arches just past the wine bar. Small grocery store is just before wine bar
We were on 4th floor with sea view. Loved the multi leveled garden terrace. Unfortunately weather was rainy while there but we made it work. Breakfast was very good especially on days Rick Steve tours were there. Homemade cakes! Also lent us umbrellas for rain. Very close to nice wine bar

The location is perfect, not too far from the station. The hotel has a beautiful terrace with a stunning view. The breakfast was delicious! eggs, bacon, variety of bread, pancakes, cereal, fruits, coffee and juices. I arrived really late and communication was excellent via WhatsApp. I definitely will stay here again.

The property was fantastic. Cute, charming, full of character. The town was also great. We were there for a birthday and it was perfect. Great breakfast too. Garden was also amazing - overlooked the town. It’s not a place for the elder or physically compromised. You can’t get a taxi right to the hotel door. Most of Italy is this way - only pack what you can carry yourself. Big suitcases don’t work well on cobblestone streets. If you’re healthy, capable, in fairly decent shape you’ll have no trouble.
