Hotel is well located, few minutes walkin from the station, in the center of the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, AC worked well. Good choice of breakfast. The garden in the hotel is absolutely amazing, wish we could stay there longer. Highly recommend.

The room was spacious and good. The hotel has a nice terrace where you have an amazing view on Monterrosso. The breakfast was really good with a great food choice (pancakes, fruites, cheese etc)

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, single room was a bit tight but had a beautiful balcony and it was very nice and clean, staff were helpful, breakfast was good. The rooftop garden was amazing with great views. Wish I could’ve stayed there longer.

Nobody was there to help carry our luggage up the stairs, it was about 20 steps up to the lobby. We arrived around 12:30pm and only the check in woman was there. Also the beds could have been more comfortable

Helpful staff members. Receptionist was kind enough to arrange us an early check-in without any costs and she arranges us breakfast at a cost in the same morning which we were not entitled to. Room was super comfortable. Bathroom is slightly small but it was clean a functioning well. Restaurant staff members are so kind and polite. They will help you every way possible. They provided a good breakfast with different options. Walking distance to Monterosso beach and the railway station. There’s a nice garden on the top floor.

The door in our bathroom was stiff and difficult to open and close. Otherwise eveything was great.

The roof terrace garden is a gem of this hotel. The breakfast was excellent and offered a wide range of choice. We particularly liked the homemade cakes.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My room although small was lovely and with the added bonus of a balcony. There is also a beautiful garden terrace on the 4th floor where you can relax. The location is great as it's close enough to walk around town but also away from any noise. Breakfast was delicious with eggs, bacon, lots of bread choices, pastries, fruit salad. The staff were so attentive and this was the same for the two ladies who were at reception. All around a great experience.

There is nothing not to like about Albergo Degli Amici. I didn't feel like the bar is open all day, but there are plenty within minutes, and not really a negative. You should know that most restaurants in Monterosso don't open until 7pm. Make reservations BEFORE you get there, or be prepared for a short wait (20 minutes or so).

Albergo Degli Amici is PERFECTLY located. If you're staying a few days in Cinque Terre, then you should stay in Monterosso al Mare and stay in this hotel. It's easy to find yet private. The views from the seaside rooms are breathtaking. The hotel is very clean. The staff is so nice and very helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast and staff are perfect. Monterosso is walkable, and the location puts you within 10 minutes of everywhere. The upper terrace is amazing. I suggest buying a bottle of wine and sitting up there in the early evening. Simply beautiful.
