Nice terrace for breakfast and kind professional staff

The hotel is spread over two buildings. Whilst we were there, the building we were in felt rather like the Marie Celeste; access by swipe card, no-one at the reception desk (though there is a phone for contacting the other building), just a TV playing constantly to lessen the silence. There was none of the human contact that is a usual feature of hotel stays, and we found it negative.

When we arrived, the room which we had been allocated was grossly overheated and only had a small window for ventilation. We were quickly given a different room on another floor, much easier to ventilate. The hotel is near the water’s edge in the old city and a comfortable walk to the newer areas ( there is also a frequent bus service). Breakfast was served on the top floor and in warmer weather there is terrace seating available. Several fish restaurants and bars within easy reach.

Wrong end of the old quarter. Run down neighbourhood. Garden by sea wall closed for some repairs

The shower didn’t have a door to close. The AC was not very cool. No proper shower chairs were available but I was able to use a plastic chair from the room. I think having a couple of shower chairs available for guests with disabilities would be helpful.

The location was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed for our two-night stay. The breakfast was good.

Room was really sombre. Courtyard view actually translated as - view of a heat pump/inverter and the balcony of the opposite building about 2 meters away.could have been better.

Even though the hotel has its own van, they won't give you a ride to close by locations such as train stations.

Since it was the first time to stay in Taranto, I chose this facility due availability, but if I had to choose again, I would choose a place in the new town. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, but there are more options of restaurants in new tow.

the woman who helped me when I checked in was excellent. she went out of her way to make me a dinner reservation and to help with directions. this was in Friday night (I didn’t get her name!).

It has an amazing location, just next to the sea. The hotel is new/renovated. The hotel offers a good selection of food for breakfast (for Italian standards). In front of the hotel is a free public parking.

Location close to train station but hard to walk to since there are no crosswalks in Taranto for the most part. Room was a little chilly and heat was seemingly slow to respond.

The hotel is well located on the edge of the historic city center, right at the shore of the Mare Piccolo and surrounded by many restaurants. The staff was very kind and supportive. The room was well equipped with all it needs.

Free parking right next to the hotel but a nasty individual bullied us into paying him 4€ for "guiding" us into a space we already knew about. Hotel management told us to ignore him but that was easier said than done as he pestered us another night but we didn't pay.

Breakfast was very good with a range of meat, cakes, fruit etc. and breakfast staff excellent. Reception staff also very helpful. Room quiet with good a/c.

Last minute booking. The staff could not have been more helpful. They went out of their way to make other bookings for us and assisted us in everything we wanted to do in Taranto.
