Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel is only suitable for an overnight stay. We had a view from the window into the wall of a neighboring house. The room is dark, it is difficult to call it cozy. In my opinion, the room is overpriced.

Could not get my wifi password to work, but because we were only there for a short period of time, I didn't ask for help.
The location is terrific, close to the water and overlooking a beautiful piazza which is humming with activity most of the day. Also, it's in close proximity to a lot of good restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly and competent. Our room was neat and updated, and that includes the bathroom and shower. We opted to have a driver take us from the airport which was arranged by the hotel, but the location is easy walking distance from either train station, although easier from Como Nord. We would stay there again, without a doubt.

The square was extremely noisy until about 2.30am every night
The staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent and everything regularly replenished. Clean and well ran, would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

No ancillary facilities eg: expected to find a lounge area. Reception desk crowded right next to breakfast room and no dedicated room to temporarily store luggage after checking-out. Rather claustrophobic. Single lift was slow and old. Generally poor value for the room rates charged. Front office staff are well-informed but rather too 'slick'. The breakfast room staff tended to be more 'geniune'.
Excellent location. Very good breakfast. Brand-new bathroom. Request for a steam iron / board was promptly attended to.

The hotel feels a bit narrow and our room was to the back, to the patio. This made it very noisy, as the sound travels very easily there.
wWe only spend one night. The room was clean and the bathroom modern. it is directly at the Center and very close to the lake.
