The lift was really old and felt unsafe. I understand it’s an old city but still not enough light from the window which was facing a wall. There was no blankets in the room. Not even a bottle of water, they were selling water at the reception! I mean if I pay that much for a hotel I expect a bottle of water. The bed was not comfortable.

The room was a bit small and a bit dark, without too much of a view. But my main goal was to be out seeing Florence, so that wasn't really a big deal.

The staff were extremely helpful, the room was comfortable and clean, although small. It was also very convenient to have the free breakfast served every morning. I also felt very safe there, as a woman travelling alone.

Breakfast was very decent, and super convenient, the dining room was sizable. Location was hard to beat - very close to Duomo, central walks and shops - this is the best thing we liked. Room was nothing special - 3 beds fit into a relatively small and fairly dark room. It was sufficient for us as we spent little time inside.

The bathroom was awkward. It was difficult to find the space to even stand in front of the toilet. Sitting was doable at an angle. Straight on and your knees would touch the wall. The hotel internet was pretty terrible and the cell signal was not so great, so you are pretty dependent on the hotel wifi. This definitely made working in the evenings difficult. Getting on a video conference was impossible.

The breakfast was pretty good. The people in there are working very hard. If you know to ask, they will bring you bacon and eggs. Some more fresh options such as fruit would be appreciated. The location is amazing. Cannot beat it. The room was very spacious for 1-person. Could work for a couple. The people at the desk are so welcoming and sweet.

The noise! You could hear everything - woke up a few times due to loud people going in and out!

- House Keeping & internal communication: Something strange happened. From the time we checked-in, both the handwash liquid soap & bath gel bottles were empty - for two consequtive days. (We reported to reception & got small soaps - nobody came to fill it up. Interesting thing is - even the next day - they didn't fill in the liquid soap. They just made up our bed. We reported again but no immediate impact for next few hours.) Finaly we had to report at reception saying we are disappointed with this kind of service. They felt bad and got a new bottle of soap in a short time. - They do not have kettle in the room or coffee machine. We asked everyday at reception - they check and say they are all given away. Why can't there be an internal note that this room needs kettle. OF course, one can go down to breakfast area and get warm water from the coffee machine is a choice. - There is only one window in the tripple room & that opens in the duct. So no view as such. But you do get some natural light.

Location is probably the greatest plus: just 4 min walk from the Duomo & 4 min walk from Piazza Della Signoria. Approx 15-16min walk from train station (SMN). Most of the historical sites are near by - walking distance. Breakfast is another plus - has reasonable spread. Room is reasonable: we stayed in Triple Room. One room with three beds gets little constricted. However we found it reasonable here. The room is longer enough to accommodate 3 beds. Check-in: they accommodated our check in 1 to 1.5 hours early.

The internet connection had some issues, maybe it was only for our room because it was at the end of the hall, but I think it could be improved. The room was also a bit cold, maybe it was our bad luck, but I think based on the value of the hotel, the hotel should meet the expectations in any season and weather.

We stayed three nights in Florence, I think the location of the Hotel is perfect if one wants to visit the tourist areas. Most of the attractions can be reached by foot. The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the breakfast was good enough.

The bathroom needs to be refurbished, especially the shower cabin that doesn't even close properly and looks more like a museum piece. The toilet is too high making it very uncomfortable to use, especially for normal-to-shorter people. Room a little bit cramped for three people, but over all ok, given the location of the hotel and the fact that you use the room mostly just to rest at night.

The reception staff is extremely friendly, willing to assist you in anything you want, and very patient with any type of tourists. Actually, they might be the best asset this hotel has, beside its location, which is literally meters away from all main attractions in Florence, which eased our way around a lot. The hotel is decent, room - clean, beds - comfortable, elevators (2)- very useful.

Bathroom could do with updating (I think we might have been in an accessible room). It was slightly cool at night, so an extra blanket would have been lovely.

The room is as cold as an iceberg. No heater after 1st of April. What a genious policy! Don’t advice to stay at this hotel during April or early May perhaps. Firenze weather is unpredictable. We stayed there on 21-22 of April and it was like Stockholm in the room…

Location is great. Staff is wonderful. Breakfast is decent but need to ask for the eggs, very strange. Clean facilities.

Lighting, rooms were quite dark, shower power was good but head of shower didn’t always stay up which was slightly irritating.

Location was amazing, in the centre near to everything. Bed was extremely comfortable, staff were friendly and nothing to much trouble.
