Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The main issue was the bed it was just a click clack sofa and very hard. Also the extractor fan in bathroom made a noise but didn’t do anything.

- the walls were so thin I could hear the snoring of other guests - it was a bit cold at night and doucet was thin - the internal room has window coming onto the corridor and little to no natural light so difficult to wake up for me
+ 8min walk to train station + 2min walk to grocery store + friendly staff + cheap coffee onsite + clean room and nice bathroom + good wi-fi (did not drop connectivity at all)

Had a simple and small single room and the staff (even sometimes difficult with English) was very kind. The furniture was somewhat old but hadn't expected any different and totally okay for the price. The location was only a few minutes away from the train station and located in a nice square.

This is a very standard old-fashioned hotel with rooms that are fine and breakfast that is fine, but the best thing by far is the view of the mountains. It's worth staying for that alone - plus there was a very nice person organising the breakfasts 😊

Not having a small fridge in room. Bathroom saw smelly, coming from pipes.
Central, part of the old town. Close to cafes, shops & train station. Enjoyed breakfast, coffee was good. Staff friendly. Has its own bar. Mountain views from the window.

Doors were locked during the day except for an emergency coded entrance. It was necessary to carry a very large heavy key throughout the day to get back into the room. The hotel seemed quite outdated.
The location from the train was very good. The breakfast was good and the woman offering it was very pleasant and helpful.

The Internal room had a bad smell coming from outside, I guess it must have been some an alleyway with bins at the back of the hostel. With closed window and the provided fan for cooling instead of a breeze from the window, it was OK. But if you're a person who likes to have a window open when sleeping.... get a different room in the hostel.
Cheap. Decent location in town; 7-10 minute walk from the station. Lady in he morning serving breakfast was nice and helpful, which always helps in starting your day. Coffee was excellent. Excellent shower. Clean and great water pressure. Did I mention it was Cheap? For the money no complaints. Oh, and it was cheap. :)

The room smelt of clean linen on arrival but I quickly discovered that this was an air freshener that pumped the smell into the room. It was overwhelming. I tried to turn it off but couldn't so it spent the night on the outside window ledge I'm afraid. Bed was small, hard & uncomfortable with layers of various blankets rather than a cosy duvet. Worst nights sleep ever. It is more like a hostel than a hotel. The bar downstairs seemed to be used mainly by local old men who seemed to get a warmer reception than the weary traveller. Breakfast was terrible. Buffet style but you could not help yourself. The whole experience was like being on a school trip. Mould on the ceiling above the shower.
Not much. The location was ok. The lady serving the buffet breakfast was nice & tried to be helpful & friendly. The other staff should follow her example. She was lovely.
