The hotel was really nice and very nicely designed, with some traditional features. The room was very cozy and quiet at night. Free water in the room and breakfast was very yummy

The room that we were provided was awful, it is probably the worst room that we have ever stayed in, it was an attic room that was dingy, dark, depressing and dangerous as there was a beam across the room which i bumped my head on twice in the evening. The bathroom in our room had no shower curtain and had mould. The curtains we were unable to open, there was no view from the room unless you stood on the bed, when we complained about the curtains not working they were removed completely so we had no curtains for the rest of our stay. We complained multiple times to the hotel receptionist and manager and were told that was the room we had booked, they were not helpful at all although there was no photograph of the room on the web site. There was no safe in the room on arrival and insufficient coat hangers. No milk was provided to make tea or coffee in the room. The hair dryer was held together with stick tape. There was a visible burn mark in the room where something previously had caught fire. The toilet seat was broken. The light shades were either broken or missing. There was no bedside table or lamp on one side of the bed, hence you had to walk across the room in the dark The swimming pool was freezing and located in the carpark. There was no meal facilities at the hotel. We asked to be moved to a different room that was available on the website and also to checkout early and to find an alternative hotel in Como and this was refused by the hotel. This was the worst experience staying in a hotel in the world! We booked this hotel believing it to be a 4 star hotel, this was a mistake as we would rate our stay as 2 stars at best!

The location was good, Roman and the breakfast staff were excellent. Lorenzo the evening staff was excellent. The breakfast was good.

Facilities are too old. Had to change room because the airco-heating was very noisy at night - unbearably nosy and unable to sleep. Bathrooms could do with an update - shower small and old type.

Reception Staff were always helpful and informative. Able to get Hot Water from the Bar Breakfast was good, but what would have made it even better 1) a little variety each day 2) make a common coffee machine (took too long to get coffee - only 1 coffee machine for all the guests.. not enough capacity.).

Very outdated hotel. Internet doesn’t work properly. We moved to another room but the signal was still weak. No electrical plugs available to charge phones and PC. Bathtub wasn’t working. We had to shower seated as there wasn’t a way to stand up and no curtains to prevent the splashing water to wet the entire bathroom’s floor. Disaster.

The 2 pullout chairs for sleeping were a bit uncomfortable. Also, the room has an old school interior - pretty but also somehow dusty. We all had scratchy throats and eyes after the night spent in the room.

Unfortunately the 2 double rooms booked were far from the standard of s 4 star hotel - as we were a group booing it was obviously these rooms were the old self catering apartments they mention on line and not standard double rooms of that hotel.

My friend and I had been dreaming about this trip for ages, and we spent countless days searching for the perfect place to stay at Lake Como. We had two must-haves: air conditioning and a central location. The moment we found this hotel, we both gasped "She's the one, I think we found her!!". When we arrived, it exceeded our expectations. The staff were amazing, and everything was spotless. This hotel became the backdrop to many of our memories of this trip. If I ever return to Lake Como, there's no doubt I’ll stay here again!

We had an unforgettable stay, celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday. The staff went above and beyond to ensure she felt welcome and had the best day ever in Italy. Everyone was amazing, very happy, and enthusiastic. The breakfast was lovely, and the overall experience was fantastic. Absolutely spotless and highly recommended!

Check in on arrival was extremely good and efficient given the time we arrived, at this point really excited to see the room given the price. We had a baby with us so slightly annoyed we were put on the other side of the hotel (the residential side) as this was a lot more rundown than that of the mine hotel part. Lifts extremely small and lots of steep steps to navigate. Room was unfortunately awful and the worst part being that the AC did not work and the blinds in the bedroom would just not flush closed therefore leading to light being in the bedroom. The AC was on a really old system and the vents were covered in dust. We had to pay an extra €20 a night for a cot, the cot was extremely old and in need of replacement ASAP. Be aware lots of noise from this hotel from the local roads etc with rubbish collections at 01:00 which is outside of the hotels control. Breakfast really underwhelming and no diary free options at all. The poolside bar was reasonable and service always good. Pool was ok and very refreshing. The only way I can explain the hotel, front of house was brilliant but unfortunately the room was no where near up to standard.

This is not a 4 star hotel, this hotel did not provide value for money. Air Con wasn't the best, the hotel is very stuffy especially in the heat we've seen in Northern Italy. Wifi was very poor and connection was sporadic. Overall this is not a 4 star hotel, it's just an ok hotel which is fine, won't be back.

Pool area is SO SMALL. Workers are rude and not helpful. My mother and I were out into a bedroom which had a shower head that was at my waist while standing up. In the description of my booking it said “walk in shower”. When I told them it wasn’t what we asked for a rude man said to me that we “should have checked when we went into the room”. Mind you I arrived late at night and didn’t even acknowledge the shower till the next day. Honestly the hotel is SO SO TIRED, run down, a huge waste of beautiful space and areas. Hotel is hard to find and so tired.
