Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis property, having been a hotel since 1896, comes with a few eccentricities that make it all the more endearing. Having now stayed here 3 separate times, twice with groups we were responsible for, it was fun to hear a multitude of reflections. The rooms vary in style but all retained character worthy of writing home about. Many of the rooms had a loft bed overlooking the main body of the room and many enjoyed this. The suites were generous with outstanding views of Bosa's colorful hillside and the river Temo. The breakfast presentation was super and the onsite restaurant was also very good. In addition, I thank Sabrina, the owner, for organizing an outstanding staff. Andrea in the restaurant, Sylvia and Allissandro at the front desk, Vanessa and the chef at breakfast are all five star additions to Palazzo Pichedda. Thank you so very much.

IrelandThe location was excellent - it's a very charming old hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious, if a little dated. Parking was right outside, and the breakfast and dinner we had in the restaurant were nice.

ItalyOne of the waiters at the restaurant wasn’t very polite, he kept rushing us to order, and began switching off the lights and closing the curtains while we were still at the sitting at our table. If he wanted us to order faster, or wanted us to leave, there were many ways of letting us know in a kind, polite, and professional manner. (Apart from him, all the staff was exceptional).
The hotel is beautiful, it’s super clean, it’s much better than a regular 3-star hotel, and most of the staff is wonderful and super attentive, especially the gentleman at the front desk.

New ZealandNothing to grumble about.
Great location, across the bridge to the heart of Bosa, a beautiful town with a charming water front on the river, lovely sunset views from the balcony of the hotel room, and easy walk to many restaurants in Bosa. The town is a lot bigger than first thought and we spent a lot of good time browsing thru the shops before settling in for a wine or two along the river front. Breakfast was great on the morning of our departure.

So a nice and beautiful building, welcoming host Alessandro. His advice to have dinner in a hotel restaurant was the most valuable one - so tasty and cozy. Great attitude, delicious meal, and local vine. Most unforgettable experience in Sardinia.

PolandWell, everything was awesome. We really enjoyed big terraces with a good view of Bosa. Breakfast was one of the best I've found travelling around Europe, not just Sardinia/Italy - big variety of food whether you prefer continental breakfast or mediterranean one - meaning just croissant and coffe :)

Irelandcan't think of anything they could have done better
I arrived on 31st March , Easter Sunday and I was made very welcome. I was encouraged to book in the hotel restaurant. When I found myself there at 8 pm, I was perhaps the only tourist - everybody else was clearly local (which is always a good sign of a restaurant). The menu itself was highly impressive, the beverages were terrific and I wish I could have given Edwardo a larger bar order. The hotel itself is hisorical. My own room had a painting on the ceiling. The bed was lovely, the bathroom was delightful and many would have wanted to bring the bathroom mirror home with them . Alex (the gentleman on the front desk) was eager for me to make the most of the historical areas nearby. He even wrote a list of suggestions, knowing I was planning on heading south. I did in fact stop in Tharros but couldn't find time for his other suggestions. There was parking nearby and given the hotel was central to Bosa which had no publicc parking, this was some achievement. The next morning I climbed to the top of Bosa Castel and I had the opportunity to see the best of the historic town.

United StatesStaff was helpful and friendly at every turn. Hotel is elegant and fun. The location in Bosa could not be more convenient, with parking across the street and a short, pleasant walk to anywhere in the city center. We would definitely rebook when visiting the area.

ItalyMaybe a couple of sachets of instant coffee and not only tea in the room. Otherwise everything was great
We had a free room upgrade to a suite which was an additional bonus. Everything possible was provided down to a toothbrush and toothpaste. Convenient parking lot across the road for hotel guests. Good restaurant with plenty of options for non-meat-eaters.

United StatesOne night for no reason. The restaurant was closed in the hotel is located in a town that is completely boarded up for the winter almost so there was nothing open. I had to go to a grocery store and get something to eat for dinner. Bummer. Was really looking forward to another night in that delicious restaurant TV
The hotel is gorgeous. The people are wonderful and the food was amazing in the restaurant 😋

ItalyWe have no complaints at all.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Palazzo Pischedda. At check-in Sylvia welcomed us warmly, showed us where to park and then showed us up to our room. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of foods; we were warmly greeted by the staff as we entered and well looked after by the waitress. The hotel is in a great location for access to downtown. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Bosa.

AustraliaNot a thing.
Fantastic combination of old world genuine historic building with modern facilities. Staff were ultra efficient whilst having some spunk to them. It's so easy to walk around town from there. Onsite parking. Superb restaurant catering for a top class menu or simple pizza. Breakfast great. Other establishments could learn from here how to give guests a wonderful experience.
