Driving up to the hotel was a little scary because it is a one lane driveway with lots of blind curves.

I like that the property was away from the hustle and bustle of the town and a quick ride there and back by shuttle.

We loved our week here. Everyone was so helpful. The view, breakfast, and the staff were excellent. The shuttle to town made it very convenient for those without a car. We'd definitely love to go back.

The view from our balcony was spectacular, you could see the entire coastline of the Cinque Terre. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, there was a wide choice of breakfast and a regular shuttle bus to take us into town.

When i climbed the road by car and then went down, i prayed god that no one would come in the other direction because i cannot imagine facing someone on that single lane road and having to back up somewhere 2 cars can meet and pass. Thankfully, there was no other car at that time. As i am not used to that kind of driving, the ride up and down added some stress so the shuttle was useful once i got the car on top, and it stayed there the whole duration. The hotel is very quiet at night and there is no lunch or dinner restaurant, or place to walk around so there is no choice to spend the evenings in town. So you are up in the mountain but other than the view and the free car parking, there was little benefit for us compared to a downtown hotel. In the end, i think i should have arrived by train to Monterosso, avoid the car and stayed in lower town.

It's one of the few hotel in CinqueTerre with available free parking when arriving by car. This was important to me as i did not want to face a full parking when arriving in town in the afternoon. However, you have to tie your activities to the schedule of the shuttle. I did walk the road up and down a couple of times, it is quite narrow and steep, and dark at night, but safe as the traffic is very limited. The view on top is nice and the breakfast restaurant has a good breakfast. The room was big and modern, people were nice and we have a large terrasse to sit.

The views from the property are great, however this property is not in town or reasonably walkable for many due to the steep hill. The shuttle comes/goes every hour from town and the property. The van can fill quickly, but the driver always made a return trip to pick those up who didn’t make the first load. If you are looking for something that is quickly accessible to places to eat or train, choose something in town. If you don’t mind the slight inconvenience of waiting for a shuttle van in order to enjoy the peacefulness and beautiful views this is your place.

View from property and room is great! Breakfast was very good with excellent service staff. Beds are comfortable. We had a balcony which was very nice to sit and relax. Check-in and out was fast and friendly.

Nothing. Rooms can be quite small. We booked a triple room with an extra single bed which gave us more space as we had a lot of luggage to manage so we had no issues but it’s something to be aware of when choosing your room.

Beautiful view, quiet and comfortable with a regular shuttle to and from town making it very easy and convenient to come and go from the most elevated hotel in town. Lovely breakfast buffet. Several outdoor areas for lounging.

Shuttle up and down from Hotel requires a bit of planning to ensure your schedule matches that of the shuttle. This is a minor inconvenience as a trade off for the amazing view and isolation from the noise in town

We stayed 4 night and had to ask for clean towels on our 4th day. As the weather was cool and there were no heated towel rails it would have been nice to have the bath towels changed more regularly.

We spent 4 days at this venue and loved the location set high above Monterosa with a magnificent view of the mountains and the sea. The shuttle to and from the hotel every hour was unexpected and excellent, and it was lovely after a long day of exploring to get out of the towns and have some peace and quiet while admiring the view, The rooms were very well appointed. The breakfast was both English and Continental and we were spoilt for choice.

Menu not extensive for dinner so generally ate in town. A few spaghetti dishes would have been exceptional .

Exceptional breathtaking view of the cinque Terre coastline. . Would highly recommend a room with a balcony … . Spotlessly clean. Free shuttle runs approx every hour to downtown Monterossa as VERY steep hill especially after a full Day exploring. Front desk staff quite helpful.

Would suggest more frequent shuttle pick up (every 30 min) in the evening to make it more convenient to return to the hotel.

Although it wasn’t far from the town centre it wasn’t really walkable as the road was so narrow, steep & winding - the hotel provides an excellent regular & reliable shuttle service on the hour but it does mean you have to factor in timings for every outing & that was occasionally inconvenient. However, the position of the hotel is so spectacular that it is a small price to pay!

Beautiful views (& the fact you could see the hotel from whichever village you visited in the Cinque Terre!). Immaculate rooms. Very good breakfasts. Very helpful & friendly staff.

The location was heaven! Panoramic view of the sea from the front and a quiet sanctuary in the trees and mountains in the back, you can’t go wrong g either side your room is located. Breakfast was wonderful as well, everything was fresh and well done!
