Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SerbiaA bit uncomfortable bed, but if you are not fussy about it, it's decent enough. 👍
Everything was good enough having in mind that it is a hostel. We stayed in economy room. Location is perfect if you want to use public transport which was the best option for us. In three days we visited Pompei, Amalfi coast and Rome. Stuff was also very helpful and well organized. Cleanliness is also on a high level. Good value for money.

SpainThe key system to enter to the building and the hostel is kind of difficult.
It is well located since it is near to the subway station. The staff were so friendly, they helped me during my whole staying.

UkraineExtremely spooky, I was stopped by people of colour 4(!) times on my way to the hostel in the evening. Luckily, things ended well. There was no toilet paper on the property, and in the morning, there was no electricity either. Pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend this place, not even for one night; it's simply dangerous.

Polandthe staff were rude and disorganized, the place was dirty, it was loud, there was no aircon and the fan broke. the electrical outlets were not good and broke my charger with an electric shock while I was charging my phone then I had to buy a new one. Again, the staff is very rude. I cannot stress this enough. I saw other bad reviews and went anyways - my mistake.

Amazing stay. The floor have all the amenities needed, in the heart of Salerno, very well located in a just-renovated flat. And it has an incredible terrace with such a view, perfectly enjoyable both in the morning or at night with the moon light. Antonio, one of the host, was super friendly at the check in, he gave me all the recommendations needed to make my stay in Salerno the best one. Definitely a great experience and 100% recommendable.

AustraliaIf you stay in the private room like i did its actually down a dodgy street away from the main hostel location. The entire area which surrounds the hostel is extremely sketchy and felt pretty unsafe for the majority of the stay. First night we stayed here we where awoken by fireworks going off at 3am outside our balcony. The advertisement of AC is not true as there was no remote anywhere for a unit that was on the wall. A large room with very a bed that was pretty uncomfortable , but if you travelling in Summer its pretty much a big steam room.
The only good thing about this place was the price!! If u only want a place for one night then its ok as it is close to the train station.

AustraliaFelt pretty unsafe here. It was so hot so all the doors were wide open so there was little privacy from other guests who could see right in. Really hard to locate the property, luckily some locals noticed us looking lost and directed us. All the kitchen facilities were broken, only one stovetop worked and the fridge door came off every time you open it. Bathrooms were average too, the floor was constantly wet because the shower door was broken and there was one women’s and one men’s bathroom for the whole hostel- constant line for the bathroom.
Not much, there was a balcony and a fan.

HungaryThere was only one fan for 8 ladies in the room, since it's 6th floor, it was incredibly hot, I couldn't sleep at all. Hygienie was questionable, they didn't clean as often the amount of people would have required it. At midnight some men were shouting in front of our door. Lockers were really small, only for purses... There were only one bathroom for all the men and another for all the women, you have to wait for an eternity to get in... I tried to contact the given number to discuss things with the contact keeper but he never answered. Worst hostel experience ever.
It's close to the station and it's really cheap.

AustraliaThe area felt very unsafe and the hostel itself was very hard to find! The lack of privacy/ safety/ any sort of space to your self was crazy! None of the doors to the rooms locked, there were not lockers, the balcony joined all the rooms together so everyone in the hostel walked though your room all the time! The owner always randomly popped his head into all the rooms for no reason which was weird. There was one men’s toilet and shower and one women’s toilet and shower to share with everyone in the hostel. One standing fan per room which did nothing, so it was so hot and hard to sleep with all the noise from outside which the doors open for air. I’ve done over 40 hostels at the point and this is by the worst I’ve ever been at
The owner was nice
