Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesMy room faced a nightclub so you could hear the bass. Also, maybe the restaurant kept their supplies on the floor above me so while I was trying to relax and go to sleep, I could heard loud thuds like someone was moving heavy boxes.

AustriaSeems to have a gym, which, however can only be used after 9 because otherwise one might too loud for other guest, which is inconvenient and also a bit weird since the cleaning personnel would have loud chats in front of my room at 7 am.
Breakfast was good, excellent coffee. Fantastic view from the breakfast terrace.

United KingdomOnly one small bottle of water provided with the room. The two other small bottles in the fridge were €2 each. Thankfully Lidl is a short walk away. The ‘hot’ breakfast food was lukewarm to cold at 8:30. Breakfast certainly wasn’t to the same standard as the restaurant in the same location the night before.
Central location, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and a superb restaurant on the top floor for dinner. Views fabulous across old town.

AustraliaOnly really negative was the walk down to it from the station and the fact they leave 1 small bottle of water for 2 of you then the other bottle, which is the same is chargeable, but no indication of this in the room. Apart from that, nice place to spend a couple of nights.
Property was close to the main railway station, walking to the hotel the streets were dirty and filled with rubbish, which was a surprise. Once at the hotel if you turn right and keep walking you’ll come to the old town, which was really nice. There’s plenty of restaurants and bars around this area. The room was clean, bathroom designed for very, very tiny people, we had room 503. Rooftop is great for breakfast and we had a drink in the evening as well. The restaurant is packed every night, so make sure you book if you want to eat there, it’s an Instagram thing apparently. We didn’t bother as the menu didn’t look to our tastes. We found possibly the best pizza place in Italy a quick 10 minute walk away, which was also the cheapest place I’ve eaten in whilst in Italy. Pizza, 2 glasses of wine, bottled water and bruschetta €18 !!!

United KingdomSaturday night was a bit noisy, but I don’t think this is the hotel’ fault. This was due to other visitors who where quite noisy when walking through the corridors :(
Hotel is an excellent location. The terrace where breakfast is served has an amazing view of the city! Additionally, this was my first solo travel and I felt very secure and welcome thanks to all the friendly staff :)

AustraliaThe lift got crowded easily as only one lift to get to your room floor, especially when people had booked to go to the restaurant sometimes was a long wait.

South AfricaRoom didn’t look like what I saw on the website. The cups/glasses in the room and bathroom are flimsy paper cups ( not great) and our basin in the bathroom was badly cracked.

CanadaThe room we got (5th floor) was located right at the bottom of the staircase heading to the roof top restaurant (which is open to public customers/ not only hotel customers). Also, the room was right close (sharing wall) to the public washroom used by the restaurant customers. We heard so much noise from people going to the restaurant and the ones using the washroom, going back and forth in the hallway, until very late in the night. Next day we asked to change the room. The front desk immediately accepted, totally understanding, and we thank them for that. As we booked 2 nights, unfortunately it was a waste of time, unpacking, packing and unpacking in order to change the room, so a little bit frustrating. The second room was very quiet, so we were finally able to rest well. I am sure the staff knows about the issues of the 2 rooms located in that hallway, so I advise to find a solution avoiding these type of troubles to future customers.
The location was very good, walking distance from Quatro Canti, the Train station. The terrace for the breakfast (and supper if you want) is absolutely divine. The view is breathtaking. The breakfast is diverse and fresh. From the staff, I can’t say enough good of the two following members: Domenico from the front desk of the hotel and Giorgia from the top roof -breakfast team. These two persons are the absolute excellency in terms of customer service. They both have brighten even more, our days/mornings there. Genuine smiles, authenticity and so so charming and helpful.

MontenegroThe room is very basic, does not look like shown on the photos. It is small with old furniture. The soundproofing is terrible, we could hear literaly everyone walking down the corridor, plus the noise from their construction works is very loud. The breakfast is very simple, only highlight is the rooftop terrace.
The rooftop restaurant is the only advantage of this hotel, and that is only for dinner.
