Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Poland- "antique/cellar" smell in the room (probably only in the off-season, in the winter)
+ very nice service (kettle on request) + great location + quiet neighborhood + directions for the car park: https://goo.gl/maps/9fk1cZhy94y65bSC6

RomaniaIt's a small boutique hotel in a beautifully restored 600 yrs old house. The room was not big (considering the medieval architecture), but fitted 3 of us decently. We even had a fridge in the room. Sheets were impeccably clean, smelling fresh. Air con / heating was doing its job quietly. Free parking place, 2 mins away from the hotel. The old village area has narrow streets, fitting a compact, but be careful if driving an estate. If so, better come to the parking lot from uphill down, instead of the standard Google maps routing (it is a quite narrow corner just before the parking, if addressing it going up the slope). Would definitely return It happened to be the most appealing accomodation we had in Sardegna.

BelarusThe room is quite small but cozy. The city is quiet, we slept like babies. Very good option if you plan to be active and need a room just to rest and sleep. Extra bonus! The hotel has 2 lovely cats to make a stay even better. Special thanks to manager Andrea who was extremely friendly and professional.

ItalyThe host was very welcoming and helpful. We tried the hotel restaurant and ate some traditional dishes, everything was tasty! The rooms were cozy enough, the location made us feel like we were discovering authentic Sardinia. Hoping to be back soon.

United Kingdomall good 👍🏼
in a beautiful rustic part of a small authentic village that is filled with history. it was in a peaceful environment. i was single mum with child and there was a good few shops with all necessary items ( supermarket and smaller shops). there is a public bus that runs daily to other villages and near the beach, also a larger town/ city. Andrea is very helpful, staff are friendly. I really enjoyed my time spent here and also the castle. superb views and beautiful scenery! having a car would really open up opportunities for exploring this area more. sadly I didn’t have the confidence to hire a car but it’s defiantly a great part of Sardinia to stay weather for a few days or the night passing through :) thanks Andrea :)

United KingdomEverything was perfect.
What a phenomenal place! loved it. Galtelli itself is like traveling back in time. You will be staying in the very centre of this medieval town with narrow cobbled streets. Fantastic hotel, decorated in a traditional way with the utmost attention to detail. Lovely spacious bedroom with en-suite decorated in high quality finish. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs so you can enjoy a glass o wine under the stars. The staff was just fantastic - so helpful and polite. I bought breakfast in the morning and the plates just kept coming. Galtelli itself, in spite of being a medieval gem, is not a tourist destination (yet) which adds to its charm even more. For that reason though you need to check in advance where you want to eat out. I just went out hoping I’ll easily find a restaurant, but I couldn’t find anywhere only later on to find out there was a highly rated pizzeria.

IrelandNarrow streets for driving. recommend parking on the main road and walking through the village.
We had a wonderful stay. The owner was waiting to greet us. The house is beautiful, very traditional. The village is very old and original. Nice restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. The price was very cheap.

PolandThe room itself could use a little renovation (especially the bathroom) and we were a bit disappointed that there were no actual windows (other than that window in the door which wasn’t very comfortable and couldn’t be left open during the day when we left the room). You could also hear everything from the next room’s bathroom very loudly.
Very well located, super friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money. The place was clean, we loved the atrium and the cutest kittens playing around.

United KingdomDue to a language barrier (we didn't understand much Italian) we didn't realise there was a sweet or savoury breakfast option. We appear to have chosen the sweet option. It was mostly pastries etc wrapped in plastic plus some fresh fruit. It was a shame most of it was individually plastic wrapped
An attractive accomodation with lovely courtyard and in a good location to explore Galtelli and surrounding areas. Nice comfortable rooms, albeit with slightly flimsy ensuite doors. There is no parking with the accomodation however it wasn't hard to find parking nearby and the owner helped identify locations.

ItalyProbably in general would be nice to refresh an interior to make the place even more unique. The bathroom needs some fresh touch.
Andrea met us and provided all the needed information. Afterwards we were proposed a glass of wine and had a lovely conversation with other new guests. Very attentive and pleasant relation. The room was good, with everything need for a short stay. Very clean. The location is in the city center. The city itself is very charming and authentic with all the narrow streets and old structures. Free Parking is available right behind the hotel.

United StatesWifi didn't really work in room, but was great in the courtyard. Rooms could use a bit of a refresh.
Antico Borgo is a lovely hidden gem. So authentic and friendly and quaint. Location is awesome--tucked away in the hills and just a few minutes walk above Galtelli town center, which has some great little bars and restaurants as well as a good grocery store. I chose the location in large part to be close drive to Gulf of Orosei and the trailhead for Cala Luna hike. Galtelii town was just really fun and we had a great time. Property manager Andrea was so wonderful! What a fantastic fellow- so friendly and helpful and generous- sharing delicious wine made by his family. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage and large wardrobe. Bathroom and shower good, with some toiletries included. A/C decent and small TV in room. Really great to have refrigerator ensuite. The rooms are basically around a lovely courtyard that has a secure entrance door. There is free street parking nearby the property but having a small car was really helpful for navigating the narrow little alleys to reach it. There is free wifi but it mostly worked in the courtyard. The value for price was excellent and we certainly had a great stay. Hope to get back someday!

Charming rooms, very nice staff, they managed everything we needed. Savoury breakfast (8€) was very good while the sweet one (5€) was OK. Good thing is there is plenty to eat. Rooms were very clean and included fresh three towels and toiletries (then even have hairdryer). Would totally recommend and return to Antico Borgo! Thank you!
