The “sea view” is actually “SIDE sea view” through buildings. More light is needed in the bathroom. There is an elevator in the building, but we still needed to climb about 30 stairs with our 30kg luggage.

Good location. Comfy room with 2 balconies. WiFi is ok. “Talete” parking is 5 min walk - costs 15€/day. Breakfast (for 3-4 days) is ok, for more days needs variety.

It can't be changed, but the elevator is in half landings, so we needed ro carry suitcases up half flights of stairs twice.

The room was large, very clean. Great hot water and shower, wonderful view from our room. Simona, who did everything from cleaning to breakfast to checkout was lively and warm Breakfast was just right, not a huge buffet, bur anything we needed. Free bottles of water was a nice perk.

A prewarning to look out for an email detailing check in arrangements would have been helpful, as the check in process is not staffed.

Great location, and as a tourist I think that Ortigia is definitely the area you want to stay in Syracuse.

My only suggested improvement would be to provide a desk chair instead of a stool, since there is a nice work space and it could be a bt more comfortable to use.

The room was large and extremely attractive, with a balcony and nice views over the square and temple ruins. The bed was superb, and the bathroom and shower were very nice and well equipped. I was even impressed with the blinds and draperies, easy to use to control light, and there were amble plugs. Breakfast was very good, and I much appreciated the complimentary fridge bar in the lounge.

one tiny thing i have to mention is that you can hear everything happening in the lobby quite good. was not an issue for me as i am an early bird, but could be an issue for someone who likes to sleep in.

it is a beautiful hotel, the room design and the attention to detail is on par with the best 5 star hotels. the hotel staff is quick to respond, very kind.

What a great place! The location is superb, right on Ortigia island with all its sites and restaurants, and also only some 25 minutes on foot from the Neapolis archeological park. Parking on Ortigia is horrible, but 10 minutes away on foot is the Molo Sant Antonio carpark on the mainland (15 euro per day, you can pay with the EasyPark app). Despite the central location, there was no noise at night. The whole place - both the communal/breakfast area and the room - are well designed, modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was big and comfortable, as was the bathroom. Free drinks in the mini bar were a very nice touch. The breakfast was great, served by a very nice staff member. The building is old, but there actually is a small elevator if you can't handle the steps. Our room had a beautiful view over the Apollo temple and roofs of the old fisherman's district. Very cool.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Checking in and out very easy and unproblematic. Spacious room with great people watching from the balcony. Room was quiet with the door closed even through it's very central location
