Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The room was very clean. Even we arrived earlier than supposed to as per check in time, we were welcomed by the owner. Stay in the room was very comfortable and nice. Location was very convenient in terms of train station, Pompei, main city attractions.

United KingdomNot “like”is far from the term I’d use, but we initially found the keycard system a little glitchy. We then discovered that it was more a question of technique, and once we grasped the knack, we had no issues. Apart from that minuscule issue, I can think of no single thing was not of the highest standard.
This property, which only opened this year (2024) is exceptional. On request we messaged our host, Giulio, with an expected arrival time and he was there to meet us as arranged with a warm greeting and smile. His English is excellent and far better than our minimal Italian. He showed us our room, clearly explained the key card entry system and ensured we were happy. Giulio also supplied a small map of the area, highlighting places to eat along with points of interest and even the local Carabinieri office, just as an unlikely precaution. He was always available via WhatsApp with impressive response times and would Sen a message or two each day to check everything was well. The property is located only 3 minutes walk, North of Pompei rail station and is perfect in its position, just a few meters down a small side street. There are a number of cafes, restaurants and pizzerias just around the corner, with many more within 5 minutes walk. The cathedral square is 3 minutes walk away and the main entrance to the Pompei Archeological site no more than 8 minutes walk. The rooms are reached via two short flights of stairs, with the small reception office half way. The door opens up to a communal kitchen area. We stayed in their smaller double room, but it was more than adequate for our requirements. A very comfortable, large double bed, good storage with plenty of hanging space (and hangers, not always the case, I find). A small fridge with a couple of bottle of water already chilled, a kettle with cups etc. There is a USB-A socket in reach of either side of the bed. The two high windows have blackout curtains and the windows themselves can be easily opened/closed by the means of an electronic switch. This method also applies to the window of the generously sized bathroom, which includes a good sized walk-in shower. Shampoo, conditioner and shower cream were all provided. The entire property is tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean.

SlovakiaEverything was lovely so if I have to choose one minor thing, the tea offer in the room was used and not refilled. And we didn't know how to open the windows (it seems there was no handle), but the AC was working just fine.
It's a very modern accommodation with easy access. It was very clean, bathroom was as on the pictures and the host was very helpful. The location is great, only 3 minutes by walk from the train station but also only around 10 minutes to all the restaurants and touristic area. It is apx. 25 minutes walk to the "main entrance" of Pompei ruins.

United StatesNo complaints.
You can tell that they put a lot of talented work into remodeling the place. It is all very modern with a lot of nice touches. It is quiet at night and feels very secure. The air conditioning was necessary and it worked well to cool the room. The host was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for transport to/from the airport, a tour of Pompeii, and a tour of the Amalfi Coast. The tours were perfect (especially the tour guide for Pompeii) and just what we were looking for. There are tasty cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. We would definitely stay again.

ItalyAnna and Giulio are the most gentle and caring landlords I have ever met. The room facilities were very new and clean and the beds were very comfortable. On the day of check in they give a map of Pompei that they made themselves, full of tourist attractions and restaurants that they recommend, very thoughtful! It was a surprising and relaxing night's stay.

BrazilSuch a lovely room, everything is modern and new. It's very close to the ruins, but perfectly located in the modern Pompeii where you can find hip restaurants and bars. The hosts were very sweet and accommodating, even fixed me up with a transfer when I needed. It's a perfect alternative stay for those going to Sorrento or even Amalfi Coast, as you won't find a room this good for the same price in those other cities and it's very accessible with the metro just a few blocks away that will take you directly to Naples or Salerno. 10/10!

MaltaThe owner told us first that we could keep the room till whenever we wanted, knowing that we needed to leave to Naples during the day. So, we booked a tour to visit the Vesuvius and sent us his colleague to take us to the place where the tour started, then while we were going up to the Vesuvius, the owner texted me that he needed to leave the room by 13.00hrs for other guests!! I told him that we had to finish the tour around 12.30hrs and by 13.00hrs we had to be at the station and we could be at his place at around 13.30/45hrs. He told me that he wanted to take out our luggages from the room, when some stuff was still not inside our luggages! I told him to wait for us (another stressful morning) and not to touch our luggages. That's why then he offered himself to pick us up and take us to the B&B, where we found our luggages and all stuff outside in the small reception................. In order to justify this he offered us a taxi from the venue to Naples at a charge of 80 euro ............. he could have spare it:(
The owner came to pick us up from the train station with his private vehicle. He showed us how all facilities worked and on the following day, he even brought us a small breakfast at the common area.
