Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryBreakfast is really simple. One croissant/person, a baguette and some jams.
Easy to find, safe to park the vehicles, they let the motorcycles park under roof. The hosts are really nice, the room was cosy.

United KingdomWe loved everything!
The hosts were amazing! So welcoming and friendly. Property was immaculate. The families philosophy of producing organic wine and olive oil was commendable and their passion for ensuring local business use local produce is great for sustainability and quality. We loved Antonella and Sophia! Felix the cat was so cute! We had a brilliant holiday with memories that will last forever!

BelgiumSince there is no real hotel reception, you need to look around the property to find someone, eg. for the check-in.
Quiet location near the beautiful village of Sambuca. The basic rooms are located around a central hall. It was handy to have a refrigerator in the central hall to keep your drinks cool. The lady of the house was friendly.

A feeling of being in the country while still being near the town. We also loved the wine tasting—so much food! The animals on the property were an added bonus, especially the cats.

AustraliaThis family run ands organic Agriturismo is located about 5 minutes drive out of the main town of Sambucca di Sicilia amongst Olive Groves and vineyards. The family greeted us so warmly on arrival and during our visit. Breakfast was provided each morning with a selection of juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fresh pastries/croissants, breads and fresh coffee. The bedroom is large and the ensuite bathroom is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a fantastic wine tasting accompanied by a very generous antipasto selection alongside their wine cellar. Their wines are fantastic! This was a highlight for us and we highly recommend this to you.

The location is picturesque and peaceful, just a few minute drive from the town center. On site is a family run winery where they make organic wines and olive oil. It’s possible to taste and purchase the wine or olive oil if you desire. Antonella is a wonderful host that knows the area and can provide recommendations. The rooms are tastefully decorated to match the Italian countryside location. This was a unique and wonderful stay that I will recommend to friends visiting this beautiful part of Sicily.

NetherlandsNot really anything, this was agriturismo at its best!
Beautiful location in the vinyard. The hostess and host took us around the whole wine factory and we tasted the wine (excellent!). We bought some wine and olive oil. Breakfast and evening had a very large open area in the upper floor, with decorations, coffee, couches etc. A restaurant in the village turned out close by and very good.

GermanyThe staff is very nice and friendly. A cute dog and some cats walk around in the garden. The breakfast was the standard Italian sweet breakfast with self-service espresso coffee. The people living in the area were also very nice and open. I would like to visit there again.

United StatesBed linens and towels could be updated , as well as the furnishings. I realize they host travelers as well as run a wine and olive oil production. The experience could be elevated with small added touches.

United KingdomBreakfast could have been better. The cornetto and coffee were good, but the rest of the breakfast didn't measure up to the quality we expected. It was a bit noisy at night. We didn't get the promised tour of the winery.
Sambuca di Sicilia is a lovely town to explore and many other attractions were a shortish car journey away. The room and dining room were classily decorated. The bed was really comfortable. Everything was very clean. The hosts were friendly.
