Noise, hearing the music from 10 pm to 2 am, would have appreciated knowing prior to booking. Owner was not forthcoming with information.

The property has very limited services and staff to assist with planning or guest help. Also, while the property does have an elevator, its location still requires you to manage some stairs with luggage.

The location was exceptional near Piazza Navona and many cafes and shops. The area is an iconic picture of what Italy represents.

the access with any luggage was terrible the front door of the building was strewn with garbage all over the street from the marauding tourists which while not the fault of the hotel is the collective responsibility of the many Albergo in the building. an older couple told me on arrival “don’t bother with the key, just push” our room was very dark looking out onto a service area. we only had one night in ROME so it was very disappointing. that said I cannot fault the helpful and kind staff but management need to get real, the access and main hall are grim.

We paid extra for a Large Double or Twin Room With City View (24 sq meters). This was the smallest 24 sq meter room I've ever seen. The comfort & quality of the room made it a poor value at the rate we paid; this is effectively a modest 1 or 2-star hotel. After we paid and departed, they tried to charge us again by reporting us a "no-show" through Booking.com! The reception was frustrating for weary travelers unfamiliar with the setting. This is a B&B in a 5-story building with many dozens of other properties. There is no sign outside, and we were given no instructions on how to find the B&B in the building. Although we messaged through Booking.com in advance with a photo of what we thought was the front door, we received no reply as confirmation. Once we found the front door and entered the building with all of our luggage, we had no idea which floor or which of the dozens of doors the B&B was behind. No one was in the foyer to greet us, so we stood there for some time. It turns out the B&B is actually on the 3rd floor (ie 4th floor by American nomenclature) behind one the 3 doors on that level. The building has many other businesses with similar names, incorporating the word Navona, so it was hard to tell, but finally someone in the building took pity on us and directed us to the right door. We asked for breakfast at 8 am on our day of departure to give plenty of time to reach the train. However, this was not communicated to the staff, so after it became apparent no breakfast was coming anytime soon, we had to go out and talk to the staff, who were very surprised and had no idea of the request. The faucet to the sink in our bathroom was set far too high, so that even at modest flows, the water splashed on our feet. The door to the bathroom did not operate properly and had to be very firmly slammed in order to close. Breakfast did not include fruit or eggs, which we would have liked.

The staff was pleasant and receptive to requests. The elevator worked well. The slippers provided in the room were nice. There was also several bottles of water and a some homemade cookies given on check-in. There is an espresso maker in the room, with coffee and cups provided, although the espresso cups were too small to accomodate the volume that came out. The windows blocked most of the street noise, and the room was high enough above the street not to be overly affected by the noise. The location is very central if you don't mind hordes of tourists. The shower worked well and was relatively spacious. There was ample closet space.

For the first few nights the AC wasn’t as effective as it could have and should have been. It was serviced half way through our stay and was then really good. The bed was very firm and gave me back pain but that’s just because it wasn’t to my liking - each to their own on that. The room itself came with coffee/tea making facilities although milk would have been a nice touch as my wife doesn’t like black tea. The room in general had everything for a comfortable stay and we would recommend it to anyone.

great location on a brilliant street. We were able to walk to 99% of places and also be able to leave the apartment for lunch and dinner and not have to go far as the local restaurants were so close and all great. The apartment was always clean and the staff were very friendly.

it is on a very busy street/ alley. Music was loud until after 2:00ish every morning. Also there is an elevator which is 17 steps up from the door. It sounded like a hotel on line, but is a set of rooms in a building.

Communication was not great. Check in was fine but after that responsiveness was slow or non existent. For our last night we scheduled a car to the airport. Car never showed up. I messaged that to my contact and they never responded back which I found unprofessional. At least a sorry or something.

Because of the Piazza nearby, it’s a little loud into the evening. Ear plugs helped. Also, a guest opened my door in the morning, so maybe there is a better way to lock the door or mark that it is locked.

Beyond an amazing, central location beside Piazza Navona, the hospitality and communication was superb. I was able to communicate with the host via the Booking app and through direct phone calls to plan my arrival. she even helped me plan my departure with a taxi and directions. The space is beautifully designed, clean, spacious (the bed was nice a big!) and inside a traditional Italian apartment building with a lovely courtyard view. It also has modern amenities, great WiFi and homemade snacks upon arrival. My overall stay was warm and welcoming, and I look forward to staying again. I will also recommend MyNavona to friends!

The location is excellent. A few steps from Piazza Novona and plenty of restaurants at the doorstep. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The night before our trip back home they left us breakfast in our rooms which was nice touch from them. They also coordinated our transportation to the airport.
