Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The house is lovely and very well placed to reach public transport to see both the old town or the city center! Matteo is an incredibly kind and lovely person who waited for me until i arrived at around 1-2 am. He is a great conversationalist and has lived a super interesting life, so lots of stuff to talk about! the bed, the room, the bath, everything was marvellous!

SlovakiaI was missing AC very much in this summer hot weather 😭😅 and the bathroom downstairs needed some equipment/carpet/towel to clean or stop the water coming from the shower outside. I was not a fan of the toast for breakfast very much as it was very hard to chew. Also my husband who has to be on a gluten free diet did not get a bread or non-sweet pastry to eat it with scrumbled eggs, although he didn't mind and all together it was still great from the host to know how to prepare breakfast for a person on gluten free diet and for this price it was nice to stay for a few days. Thank you very much 🙂
Good acommodation for the price, two bathrooms for the house guests, breakfast included was fine, english speaking host, he left us to stay even after check out so my husband could work full time on our leaving day on PC from there, the host even offered a small plate from his lunch - very tasty gnocchi. Very nice lady who was cleaning there and willing to help us to change a chair between rooms as our chair in our room was broken. The location was excellent and nearby was a place - outside foodcourt with excellent beer and very tasty gluten free pizza!

AlbaniaMy stay was short. As far as I was concerned, I didn't find anything to dislike. The only thing, but not related to the property, was the bus that did not go as planned to the nearby station due to road works. This concern was only for the first time when I dropped the bag, after that walking was the best thing to do. Citta Alta was about 45 min away and the walk was worth it.
I felt like at home, in fact it was a house that welcomed guests. The owner of the house offered to provide information to make the visit to Bergamo as complete as possible, accompanied by a welcome coffee.

United StatesI went to Bergamo so I could catch the early morning flight to Bulgaria. Unfortunately, there was no airport shuttle. The host tried to help book a taxi, but I ended up walking a mile and a half at five a.m , trying to get to the bus station. A local man walking his dog finally was able to order a taxi for me and I got to the airport. It was a stressful morning.
When I arrived, It was late, and I was tired. The host offered me a pot of tea and a sweet in the living room. The house is old with some lovely paintings, and the breakfast was very good: eggs, sweet rolls, and a freshly baked, delicious muffin. The host accompanied me to a phone store where I was able to buy new cords for my phone. He showed me a few sights, including his church which had a special painting. The house is old and lovely. I had dinner right up the road at an open-air market. Being Friday, it was a beer garden. I had excellent pork ribs.

PolandI can imagine that when other rooms have guests the noise from the bathroom might be slightly disturbing. We did not complain but we stayed only one night.
The antique atmosphere in room full of really old but perfectly functional furniture. WONDERFULLY hospitable host. Jazz lover, a retired chef. Kind and informative. Served us tea and cookies on arrival. Parking in the street justoutside the entrance. Free. If you want to talk to a cultured gentleman in English, Matteo is your man. Recommend wholeheartedly.

RomaniaThere is only one bathroom, but I can’t say that I didn’t had the time or the confort as it should be. It was ok for us and we liked the fact that the house is keept with the original design.
The place where we stayed was suitable in every way. Close to the bus stop, about 15 minutes from Esselunga (supermarket). The host was welcoming and attentive to us and our needs. Very good breakfast. We are happy with the hospitality and the accommodation!
