Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Clean and nice and cool with the air con. Delicious breakfast. Coffee machine available with good coffee (not just at breakfast). Wonderful breakfast options of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese, meat and jams with bread, crackers and muffins. Super helpful host.

This guest house was very well taken care of, clean, and comfortable! Breakfast had a nice little selection each morning. Great location, just outside the “busy” area of the city but still only a short walk to the Old Town center, beaches, restaurants and cafes, and the bus stop. As a single female traveling alone, I never felt uncomfortable going to and from the house, even after dark. This was a great place to stay!

Really peaceful location (quiet at night), but just in walking distance to the old town and waterfront. Very cute room, thoughtful touches, great air conditioning, felt very charming and homely. Kitchen had everything you need, great breakfast spread with fresh fruit salad, yogurt, pastries and coffee. Raffaele was so friendly and helpful with really good English. Highly recommend!

The bed was on a softer side, maybe time for a new mattress? Also be aware there are school doorms across the street, so expect some noise, however they do seem to have a rigid bedtime, so you won't be disturbed overnight by youngsters :)
First of all, I would highly recommend getting here by taxi not by car, we were very lucky to have found a parking spot on the street, can't quite imagine the carnage during high season :) We only stayed for one night unfortunately, would have gladly stayed longer under different circumstances as the flat was very cosy and welcoming. The comms with the flat owner were flawless and indeed accommodating our later than planned arrival. The flat is on the 3rd floor without an elevator. The hallway feels somewhat cramped, but the shared kitchen area was stylish and furnished with care and thought. Our room had a balcony facing the street, the room and the balcony are both furnished very cute, the en-suite bathroom is tiny, but not an issue as totally functional with very good water pressure. Oh, do take the restaurant recommendation from Raffaele, he knows good food!

Very cozy and nice room with all you need. The Host is very courteous and friendly. I also like the sustainabilty character of the guest house. The apartment is next to the old town and everything is nearby. Parking is possible nearby as well. Can totally recommend this guest house.

Espresso machine seems to be on a timer? If leaving early that will not be available for you.

The appartement is on the third floor, eighty steps, withour elevator.. For pensionados quite a challenge

It’s an apartment with four separate rooms inside. We were the only guests staying, but it might get quite crowded and cramped when all four rooms are rented out.
Nice rooms close to the city center, next to a park. Everything is on walking distance with free parking in the street. There is a small breakfast available with coffee and tea.

Just super cozy and with free bikes. Close to the old town and the walk of 5-7 min was no problem. Felt safe during nights aswell Extreme nice staff that also supported with taxi to pasta course
