Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

I rate the whole stay very good. Maricio is a super host, he was always there to help. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It's clean, rooms cleaned daily. I recommend it to everyone as a base for visiting Rome. It takes about 30-40 minutes to walk to the attractions. Close to the train station from where you can reach Fiumicino airport in 40 minutes. Opposite the apartment there is a bus stop from which you can get to Warykan (line 23) every 15 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the kiosk across the street. I recommend choosing this apartment, you will not be disappointed!!!

B&B Easy was perfect for our stay - It’s location was exceptionally good we thought as it was a short walk from the subway station. Being 1 stop away from Circus Maximus and 2 stops away from the Colosseum meant we were only ever 7-10 mins away from being in the city centre (for only €1.50 per trip) and seeing the the sights. Maurizio was also very helpful with giving us a a quick guide with a map when we first checked in to help us to know where to go. Our room had every amenity you could need and more, a comfy bed, air conditioning, a nice clean bathroom, a TV with Netflix and Disney+ and a balcony with seating for 2 overlooking the street at the front of the building. Phone chargers already at either side of the bed when we had forgotten to bring socket adapters was also a very nice touch! The BnB itself only consists of a few rooms so it’s a very peaceful place to stay. The hallway, kitchen and our room were very clean and they did a lovely job turning down our room everyday and keeping breakfast food stocked in the kitchen. Many thanks to Maurizio and all the other staff, it was a trip to remember forever!

Sleeping with your window open is impossible; if you want fresh air, open your windows before bed, the area is very noisy during daytime.
Everything was easily accessible, very comfortable and offered a lot of facilities, it was exceptional! The location is good and there are numerous means of transportation very close by.

We loved it all!
Loved the locatiom with easy access to the metro linking you to all sites in Rome. Extremely clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with breakfast supplies available to help yourself. Host was fantastic giving us all the required information on the apartment as well as local tips to food and activites.

The fact that we only stayed a quick night before flying home after visiting Italy and Greece.
Location near the train station as well as many restaurants makes this a perfect location. Exceptional host.

Loved everything
Maurizio was an excellent host, got in contact before our arrival, gave advice on getting to the property, gave useful information about the local area, and was easily contactable if needed. The place itself was deceptively large. We had a room with en-suite and balcony. Kitchen facilities were shared with the others staying (4 rooms in total). The kitchen was clean and stocked full with a variety of food and drink, some included and some you pay a little extra for if you want it. The property was located a 5 minute walk from the metro station, a short ride to Roma Termini as well as the other famous areas such as the Colosseum.

everything was absolutely incredible! truly felt like home and we enjoyed all the facilities that our room offered. Clean, beautiful, modern. wifi worked perfectly. all the different chargers that the room offer are also appreciated when you are visiting from out of Europe. well located (train, bus and metro very close) even to head to the airport. highly recommend!

OMG I just love that place. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean. TV contained free Netflix and Disney. Another benefit of the visit was a kitchen and the breakfast that was there. The kitchen had lots of appliances like espresso machine or cooker. But the best thing there was that each place (e.g. in the fridge or on the shelf) had a cute number of a room that had that space. Brilliant! For the breakfast we even received gluten-free products!

The room is very clean, cozy and gives you the feeling of being home. The hosts are very nice, they give you everything you need to have a pleasant stay in Rome. Location is very good, 5-7 mins walk to metro Piramide and buses around, but is also walking distance to Colloseum. Breakfast is mainly cookies/ toast and coffee, but they are always replenished and you can cook your own food in the kitchen. Both Maurizio and the other lady are very welcoming and helpful. Definitely a place to come back to when I go back to Rome, everything was really lovely.
