A shared flat with your own keys to your room and bathroom. The decor is charmingly stuck in the 80s - super eco-friendly in that regard! Facilities to make a hot drink. Super clean.

A restaurant is right beneath the room and they stay up quite late and the customers are really very noisy till the wee hours of the morning. And it was WINTER!! What is it like in the summer?? It would have been much easier and far less stressful if all information about checking in was shared beforehand.

I should have read the apartment description closer, because while we had our own private bathroom, it was across the living room which is a shared space. So that's on me for misunderstanding the situation. Also, there is a very popular bar/restaurant close by that we could see from our bedroom window, and it was very noisy until around midnight one of the two nights we were there. That happens when you're in a lively part of town.

Google maps got the location wrong, so it was hard to find at first. But the location in the old city was ideal for exploring everything we wanted to see. The host was very responsive to our concerns when another party renting a room had a large number of local friends gathering in the living room next to our bedroom. He made sure the gathering did not become an issue.

So-so wifi, if you are with big baggage - quite hard to move with it through the old town streets. Super in cold during winter - be prepared

There are a lot of mosquitoes so if you turn off the ventilators, it is very hot and if you turn them on it is very noisy. If you open the windows, there is a lot of noise and mosquitoes and if you close them it is hot…

It is a good idea to share kitchen with others and meet new people. The location is very nice and the apartment design is great.

Anything negative about our visit was related to the weather outside and our unfamiliarity with Genoa. Don't be shy though, what a beautiful old city with such a rich past.

The room was very clean, spacious and nicely furnished. It is in the old part of the historic centre , so its very close to restaurants and many key attractions , also the port and Acquarium is just a 5-6 min walk away. If you are coming by car, mind you will not be able to enter the zone in which the B&B is located nor park next to it. Lorenzo the host was extremely helpful and friendly!

I can't think of anything. We loved our stay.

The location is great: in the historic center (but not too far in) and close to everything. The building is (of course) very old, but it has been renovated very nicely and everything inside is updated, except the authentic historic charm. The windows are incredibly insulated. There was a lot of noise outside, which we worried would keep us awake, but when we closed the windows it was quiet! The property owner was very responsive and communicated very well with us. It was super easy to check in and check out. We were a larger family group and rented the whole apartment (3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, and dining/sitting room), and it worked out great! I would definitely return!

Good location in old town. Spacious family room with good sized modern bathroom. Clean and comfortable room. Very responsive and helpful host. The kitchen and living room were shared, but no issues at all with this. Also appreciated the restaurant suggestions left for guests - we tried one we would not have found otherwise and it was excellent.

Parking is a challenge if you have large luggage. One apartment with 3 rooms, if you only take 2 you have another couple with you. All rooms are lockable.

A good location close to all harbor and city sites in the edge of the old city. World famous pesto restaurant around the corner. The apartment is very well maintained. Coffee and tea facilities in each room. Meticulously clean. All crockery, kitchen and bath facilities in super condition. Very comfortable. Very accommodating and helpful owner.

The location is a bit edgy but that’s how Genoa is in general, Some insects fly in when you open the windows but again that’s because the city is not that well maintained not the fault of the owner at all

The room is huge, The place itself is a flat with several private rooms, only the kitchen is shared and it has everything you might need. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, The apartment is kept in very good condition!
