Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA couple of suggestions: More sockets would be welcome, everyone nowadays has at least two devices to charge. A second set of keys would make coordinating easier.
Excellent location near the conference centre Nuvola, only 15-20 min walk. Very friendly and helpful hostess. The rooms was clean, although it was a bit tight for two, mostly because we had asked for separate beds.

Greece1. The place is outside of the main attractions of Rome. I travelled for work, so I didn't mind but If you need to visit Rome as a tourist, you can maybe find similarly priced options around Roma Termini. 2. The room is big enough and the private bathroom was big but the whole place is a little run-down and they may need to upgrade the doors and repaint some parts of the apartment for it to be really worth it as an option. 3. As with other accommodation options of this category, the breakfast that was included in the price had only sweet and typically unhealthy options available. Nothing salty or fresh. The cappuccino offered was great though.
1. The friendly staff and how they were always available to help. The staff really made the stay worth it. 2. The security measures. 3. It was close to the Palazzo dei Congressi, the congress hall I needed (20-minute walk away) and way cheaper compared to the hotels around the congress hall. 4. There was a bus stop right in front of the apartment block and a metro station (Laurentina) a 12-minute walk away.

Romania.
This destination is an excellent choice, offering a perfect balance between tranquility away from urban hustle and closeness to the city's points of interest. Conveniently located near public transport facilities, authentic restaurants, and gelaterias, it promises a memorable culinary adventure. The area is remarkably calm and enriched with green spaces, ideal for relaxation after days spent exploring the Italian capital. The host greeted us with impressive hospitality, exuding warmth and respect. The rich and nutritious breakfast served in your room is exactly what you need to start your day. Additionally, the location enjoys a significant advantage: the possibility to directly take bus 720 to Ciampino Airport, with a fare not exceeding 1.5 euros and a journey time of only 30 minutes, thus facilitating quick access to air transport. Moreover, the location is situated on the B line of the metro, which serves the main tourist attractions in the center of Rome, enhancing its appeal as a prime choice for visitors.

United KingdomIt was very noisy with traffic on one side and noise through very thin walls - doors being locked, talking, etc - from the other.
The room had the essentials in - bed, wardrobe and table. The bathroom had everything we needed with a small but powerful shower. Only 5 minutes walk from the Metro Station, a selection of shops and restaurants also 5 minutes walk, so a good location. A lovely breakfast - delicious croissants! The lady who runs it does not speak English but is really nice and friendly.

PolandAir conditioning was not working (or to be more precise, it was just blowing the air but not cooling). As the room was at the top floor, it was getting unbearably hot there. We were "lucky" that during the stay the temperature outside only reached ~32C. If it had been 37C (like the week before or after), we would have not been able to stay in the room at all.
Breakfast was very good and served in-room.

EgyptEverything was awful starting from miscommunication with the owner lady only speaking Italian. The worst nightmare was when we found no water at all at the bathroom. We tried to know, peep the intercom, call the owner, write on her whatsapp, even send messages to property on booking but got not answer.Owner appeared at 1 am and she was angry that we walked her up. First she pretended she didn’t know. She could have warned us or cancelled booking before our arrival, but she didn’t care. Moreover, she left us peeping the intercom though she knew about our arrival time. The sofa bed was not comfortable. Breakfast in the room was meant to be for a baby not like the photos. When we asked for water to drink and wash our hands, only a small bottle was given. The shutter didn’t work so the window was open even when the sun rose. I stayed with my kids from after midnight till 2 pm next day with not a single drop of water in the toilet. When I asked her about the expected time of water return at 1 pm, she kept screaming and shouting hysterically in Italian. She called Booking Customer Service and cancelled our second night because she can’t accomodate any guests without having water in her semi called hotel in a remote area in a dirty street. I heard the only guest shouting at her in the morning and when we woke up the other two rooms were already empty. It is not a real hotel, it is a floor on the 5th floor in a building, with locks and intercom. We weren’t able to leave and I had to go back asking for her help, but the owner walked away leaving me with her helpless old mom who also speaks only Italian. Finally she agreed to help us open the 3 gates until we found our way. I asked for a refund for the first night because we received no service, no food, no water, no responsibility and no respect. I had to book instantly with a higher rate in another hotel spoiling our first day in Rome and having extra charges for a taxi with our luggages to the city center with my poor kids.
I liked nothing
