Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThin walls make it a little noisy when people come through the hallway, or when cleaning staff come through in the morning. Not a lot you can do about this, but buy ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.
Amazing location, very clean, and great staff! He was very happy to help.

United Kingdomthe access to the room is difficult with a pram and small child, plus luggage. there is no lift and we had to walk in through a small door within a door ( luckily the yo-yo fit through the small door), then up some marble steps, then a narrow set of steps. our room was at the top so we had to then climb steps to the loft. we got used to it but when I was on my own with my toddler, and being 5 months pregnant, it was tricky. for those without children I think this is a perfect room to stay in.
the property was clean and spacious.

BelgiumIsolation was non-existent. We didn't care much about the noises on the streets (As we know Italians drive the motorcycles :) ) but the noises of the other guests (after 2 am) kept us awake for way too long.
The location was super. Right in the center and close to everything

Probably the best starting point to discover Naples. Simply at Toledo metro station. Fantastic hosts Ivan and Mimmo. Always willing to support! Very clean apartment.

ItalyNot Applicable--everything was great. But one must be aware that when you get to the place, before entering the actual reception area, you will have to go up a steep flight of steps in a narrow stair case, just be aware in case you can not climb steps... that is all. Naples is an ancient place so you have to keep in mind that the places were built in a different way.
This is a great location for so many different reasons. if you are a solo traveller, as a woman- this place is perfect and ridiculously safe in terms of location, set of keys, lighting, and more. The room is a normal size, its like a house /place that has been converted into a B&B. The room had a bed and a bathroom inside, a tv, bathroom amenities, air conditioning...basically all the things you would expect from a hotel room. The place was PERFECT!!IIt was located RIGHT on the road called VIA Toledo, next to Yamamay store, so it is easily locatable. Plus, you have to open two main doors to get to your room, so you get to go through ancient Napolitano doors to get to your hotel room.. it is quite historic. The person in charge, I believe his name is Mimmo, he is VERY NICE. He is such a wonderful and kind person, he makes sure that you have everything you need and makes sure you understand everything. There is breakfast with the room, so in the morning you go to a common area and have the breakfast selection he has provided, plus his mother's cake. If anything, book a room here just so you can taste his mothers cake!!!! Last of all but not least, the price is AFFORDABLE! Do not be fooled by the price, thinking that because it is affordable that it may not be good. That's not true. This place is SPECTACULAR, if anything, all the OTHER places are OVERPRICED!! I will be coming to this B&B over and over again. This will NOT be the last time I will visit this hotel, I will make this my official place to stay when i am in central Naples. To see what the street looks like, just look up Yamamay or Footlocker on "Via Toledo" on Google Maps. this place is on Via Toledo, in close proximity to these places.... and then behind you is Spanish Quarters. It really is a great location. Also, in case you still need to see the city but need to check out, the owner provides a safe place for you to store your bags :)

Good location near to station or to walk everywhere. The person who welcomed us was friendly, and gave us recommendations of what to do and where to go, eat, really helpful and willing to share. The room was comfortable. We couldn't have the breakfast as we had to depart early to the airport. Sadly we only stayed one night.

United KingdomThere was no breakfast included! The B&B is misleading. The room was very small and smelled like sulphur (egg), presumably coming from the drainage system in the bathroom, we had to keep the separation door (room+ensuite) permanently closed due to the foul smell. The kitchen area is communal, perhaps I didn't pay too much attention to the details on this place when booking but I assumed from the images that we were getting a small studio, which wasn't the case. It is just a small double room (with ensuite, thankfully!) in a shared accommodation-like set up. For the price we paid per night I expected a bit more.
Good location! Not too close to the old town, but within walking distance. The area had some nice restaurants and a great craft beer and wine around the corner!

MoroccoWE occupied the first room in the corridor. Very noisy at night late and very soon in the morning. The restaurant welcome people late and they clean the place around 7.30 am. Impossible to stay in the bed! WE were tired in the morning. Lack of sleep.
Inside the b&b, all is fine. Except the breakfast, not tasty. But there IS a very nice cafétéria when you walk to the port. The location is perfect. The bed IS comfortable. Thé room IS Cleaned every day. Mimmo is available.
