Breakfast was excellent - everything you could want was available and it was served on the lovely rooftop terrace. Everything about the accommodation is extremely well thought out. The host was very helpful. It is in a fabulous historical area. Bari is wonderful to wander around in the evenings. All the locals sit outside.

The stairs made a unique feature and we got use to them, and loved it at the end.

The stairs are steep but I knew this in advance. They added to the charm of the B&B

The location was superb. In the centre of the old town. You stepped out the front door and were in the heart of the city. The B&B was beautiful. Modern and tastefully decorated. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Everything you needed and more. Antonio was extremely helpfully and did so much to ensure you had a good stay in his B&B

The stairs are quite steep if you have any mobility issues.

B&B Murex was located in a great part of Bari. Antonio is a caring host who gave us lots of useful information. Our room was comfortable and breakfast in the terrace was delightful.

Breakfast was amazing, we could choose what we want. Options included local cuisine! Coffee was soo good. Location is perfect, right near the famous pasta street. Loved the roof top, so chic and beautiful.

The only thing was that there wasn’t much storage space in the room or bathroom but it wasn’t a problem as we were only there for two nights.

Narrow and steep stairs could be a problem for older guests.

The room, breakfast and location was spot on. Antonio even told us where to eat and what to experience in Bari. Very impressed with B&B Murex - the best we have experienced. It was so clean. Had lots of facilities we could use - fridge, filtered water, food. The breakfast was amazing!!!

Absolutely perfect location to explore the old city, you can easily walk everywhere. Antonio was very helpful without being over bearing. The place was very tasteful, tranquil and spotless. Breakfast on the roof terrace was perfect.

From the excellent communication, the welcome and info, to the chic room, to the delicious breakfast - I cannot recommend this place enough. Antonio and Alice have created a fantastic space and even better atmosphere/care of duty for their guests. Great location opposite the castle and central for everything in the old town.

This is such a lovely B&B! The location is perfect, in the historic centre, but on the verge, so you also walk within 5 minuten to 'modern' Bari. There is a good (cheap, 12 euro's for 3 days) parking garage in about a 10 minute walking distance. In front of the B&B there are women selling amazing orecchiette and tartalli, that's a must buy when you are there. The host is really nice! He mapped out a great route throughout the city while visiting all the highlights. He also gives great restaurant tips! The breakfast on the roof is amazing. You can order the day before and everything is fresh and tasteful. The rooms are beautiful. The shower is one of the best we had in Italy. If we want to go back to Bari, this is definitely the place we would stay again!

There isn’t anything

Such a gem located in the Centro Storico. Antonio was the perfect host communicating parking info beforehand and then great sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. B&B is beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and the best pillows during my trip in Puglia. The breakfast on the terrace was a real highlight including freshly brewed coffee to order. Unfortunately it was only a one night stay at the end of my trip, would love to have stayed another night.

Amazing place with amazing host. Antonio was really nice and flexible. The room was stylish and spacious with nice bathroom. The common areas of the B&B were beautifully designed, coffee, water and soft drinks were available at all times. The B&B has a beautiful large roof top for the guests. Breakfast is also served there. Unfortunately we had to leave early but received a box breakfast that was also nice. Wonderful stay at the beginning of June.

It a 30 minute walk from beach that may no suit every one.

Host was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very good a large choice of cakes bread cheeses and meats,drinks .rooms clean and well kept and quiet. This B&B is minutes from centre of Old Town a great place to stay.

Exceptional hosts and beautiful B&B (located on the pasta street!). We arrived early and were able to check into our room, which was lucky as it has just started to rain. We were then given lots of recommendations, including an excellent wine bar which served great sandwiches. Really comfy beds and pillows :) We were only in Bari for one night before flying home but it was such a lovely way to end our Puglia holiday.

Everything was perfect!

We loved our stay at B&B Murex! A beautifully furnished room in the best part of Bari. Our host Antonio was so lovely, and was so helpful with recommendations and assisting with bookings. Breakfast was also such a treat on the terrace.

The host was wonderful and assistive in every way. After several weeks of travelling it was a bonus to have help with the bags especially with a steep staircase. The room was nice and the extras of water, chilled refreshments and breakfast all included were very nice inclusions. The rooftop terrace is lovely and the location is perfect as you enter old town Highly recommended.
