Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandI had a really nice stay at this bnb in the pompeii region. For me, it was perfect to visit the archaeological site of pompeii and others (by walking and/or public transport). Also, the hosts were really nice and welcoming, open for a chat and ready to give some recommandations for the area or answering questions in general. The room I had was spacious, nicely decorated and with a private bathroom, which fitted perfectly my attends. Last but not least: nice breakfast!

LebanonGood location near the Pompeii Ruins and near the departure to visit Mount Vesuvius. Circumvesuviana train station is also close. So I used the B&B as a base to go for Mount Vesuvius, Sorrento, Napoli and Sorrento harbour to visit Capri and other islands. Herculaneum and other sites are also few minutes away. Breakfast was excellent. The host is professional and very helpful. Good value for money The bed was comfortable, so I had a good sleep during my 5 nights stay.

AustraliaNothing.
Location was good. Walking distance to train station (less than 1hr ride to Naples, and less than 30mins to Pompei). Also walking distance to Pompei (30-35mins). Restaurants, including McDonald's, within 15mins' walk. Beautiful garden area to chill out - can buy snacks and drinks from the accommodation. Breakfast was plentiful - hot beverage, croissant (bread), egg, fruit juice, etc. Bed was comfortable, TV worked well. Roberto was really helpful with the places to visit around the area, and how to get around.

HungaryRoberto is an amazing host providing a cosy and very welcoming apartment. We stayed here 6 nights with 3 small kids and had an amazing time. The children could play in the garden and we could grill in the evening. Each breakfast was ample with some local dishes and Roberto also preparead Italian coffee as we wished (espresso, cappucino, decaffeinated etc.). Our rooms were cleaned each day and the beds were made while we were out visiting places. Roberto was an honest, sincere, helpful and great host!

South AfricaI had an amazing stay at the b&b. The host is very friendly and made my stay feel like I was at home. The room was spacious and a great bonus was the amazing garden to chill after an eventful day. The metroline connecting Napoli and Pompeii is near the Lodge and can be reached easily by foot. Also the ruins of Pompeii are within a walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxed stay in Pompeii.

Czech RepublicMy favorite accommodation! Much better than in Naples. Roberto is the best host ever! Really friendly. The garden at the place is really nice, we loved to sit there in the evenings. The location is good, close to a train station, close to everywhere we wanted. Also a really good breakfast. Loved it and will hopefully come back! 12/10 rating from my friends and I. South KoreaI really didn’t expect that I was feeling lucky with the kindness of the owner of this BnB. He speaks English very well. He made for us coffee every morning which was the best quality. I wanted to ask another coffee but I couldn’t ask for it. Because I am Quite shy. And he just asked me if I want another one. He really does cared about the visitors. and every morning he gave us some information about some places to travel easily. He was calm and kind every single day. By the way, We stayed there for a week. And We started thinking like we are in our house not a BnB . We started to say “Let’s go home” while this trip. When we came back home. The room is always cleaned up, even thought we messed up too much. This place is a heaven. I will definitely come back to stay here again with my partner one day. It was amazing time there. I will never forget about it.

United KingdomNothing, everything was perfect!
We loved our stay here! The rooms are very spacious and clean with air con and the bathrooms are well equipped with hot showers. You can park in the courtyard which is behind a secure electric gate for peace of mind. The location is brilliant being only a few minutes walk to the train station where you can get trains to Naples or Sorrento, and you're in walking distance of Pompeii. Roberto and his wife are super welcoming and you can tell they really care about making your experience enjoyable. I can't recommend this place enough, it would definitely be my first choice when coming back to the area!

SwedenThe hostel is small and nice, the rooms spacious and very clean. This was the best hostel I've been to and the hosts are the nicest! You would think the location would be a con, but it is close to both vesuvius, pompeji, naples, the amalfi coast so I would see it as a perk!
