Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI didn’t like how I was treated at the time of arrival. This was my first time visit to Rome so I was not familiar with some of the hotel types. I thought this was a regular hotel with a lobby to check in. Instead I found myself in front of a huge locked door of a building looked like residential. So I was confused and not sure if I was even at the right location. I randomly rang a bell if a resident and the person told me which bell to ring. After ringing the correct bell ,l the lady came downstairs appeaedr to be little upset that I did not ring the correct door bell. And even though I did not understand everything she said it appeared to me from her body language and tone of her voice that she was scolding me for doing the wrong thing when everything was very clearly obvious. Then she gave us instructions how to enter and exit the building speaking mostly in Italian. I partially understood the instructions. Luckily my boyfriend had better understanding as he speaks Spanish. So that type of welcoming ruined the place for me. I got over it later on and tried to the place. The room was small but pretty clean. They can update the bedding which would make it little more appealing. The bathroom was very small where my boyfriend could barely turn around. You could not bend in there which is what I do when I dry my hair. Another big problem for us which why I did not rate high was the shower. We could not regulate the water temperature. It would get either too cold or extremely hot. We would spend more time playing around with the adjustment than washing ourselves. That was very frustrating and uncomfortable.
The hotel was really clean and located close to popular attractions.

Czech RepublicNoise from the street - but where it is not in Rome, I still could sleep easily. Not a glossy area around Termini - but I knew that.
Nice and comfortable room in authentic building. Peace and quiet from other rooms and apartments. Easy access from Termini station. I felt very well there.

United StatesWe asked for a quieter room but our windows opened up to the busy street below. There was an electric train/bus that went by, it seems maybe all night and there was a lot of street noise. I am not sure if there just were not any quieter rooms or if our request was not fulfilled.
The check in was very easy, we rang the bell outside and were let in. We took the elevator up to the 2nd floor and the host met us there. Even though there was a bit of a language barrier (we do not speak Italian) she was able to convey fairly clearly everything that we needed to know. The building felt secure and safe. The room was very clean. The bed was a little basic, but comfortable enough. We loved being so close to the train station so we didn't have to wait for a taxi. The neighborhood felt just as safe as any bigger city we have been in. No worries there. There was a good AC and refrigerator in the room.

CanadaGet instructions on how to operate the shower. It’s tricky. If you like strong AC, it’s not for you. But if you are comfortable with a fan and light AC it’s comfortable.

North Macedonia15 euros for arriving after 23:00 PM and noisy rooms - not good for light sleeper. There is a tram line going on the streets under the apartments and the windows are old so It’s loud. Also the room was cold.. The heating was very low an even there was air condition no remote control was provided so I had so sleep with sweater..
5min walk from the Central Rail Station (Roma Termini), 30min-40min walking distance to colosseum, fontana di trevi.. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean often and towels are changed frequently.

Canadafor us it was fine. However, if you are overweight, you would find difficulty getting in and out the bathroom and also this is not a hotel so if you do not have a phone, it could potentially be difficult to check in without a phone.
A good value. The price was good and you get what you pay for so we were pleased. we also got to talk to the two students next to us and they were very nice. We had a very nice stay here for two nights
