Despite the minor shortcomings, I would highly recommend a stay here. A slice of real Sardinia!

The bed was comfortable but being of wooden construction creaked every time you moved. The shower tap and head needed securing properly to the wall and was awkward to operate.

The family that run this B&B are exceptionally kind and friendly and made our visit very pleasant indeed. The historic building has been beautifully furnished and decorated with many fascinating features. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and there was no noise disturbance from outside the room other than the wonderful calls of the Scops Owls in the woodland surrounding the village. Breakfast was fit for a king with a vast array of delicious local produce laid out buffet style each morning. The village of Banari is full of character and has a bar that opens around 6am and closes late evening and there is a wonderful restaurant, Sa Casara, where we had two memorable and excellent evening meals.

    Nothing really

Lovely old house in a charming village. The hosts are adorable and took good care of us. The room was nice and the breakfast in the garden amazing.

A gem of a B&B, that opens to a wonderful stay and experience in Banari!

Nothing to add, they go over and beyond to make the stay inviting.

The B&B was absolutely beautiful. Our hosts not only laid out a stunning breakfast spread, but they were generous with their hospitality. We had some issues with our luggage back in Rome and they helped translate some conversations between two different airports. If you get the chance, also reserve a spot in their local tour experience, which includes a cooking lesson, and gathering at the table with the hosts, and their friends. What a wonderful time we had!

Beautiful stone building from the 1400 , entirely refurbished and filled with art. The room was comfortable with great views, the family who runs it is very kind and friendly, breakfast was excellent with abundance of good quality fresh food. The village is beautiful and so is the surrounded area, up on the hills and surrounded by forest

Such a lovely b&b - hosts were very friendly and welcoming, b&b had a lot of character, and I had one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while there. Very quiet and peaceful location, really nice restaurant nearby that our host recommended.

Perfect relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings

Depending on what you plan to do, the location is perfect for staying local in a tranquil countryside surrounding perfect for hiking, cycling, walks. We used as a base for daily trips which wasn’t ideal as distances although short can take long time to cover but we didn’t mind that as it gave us an opportunity to enjoy beautiful Sardinian countryside.

We were delighted by our stay and hosts that showed us true Sardinian welcome. It felt like we were visiting our own family. The breakfast has already been mentioned as a stuff of legends so many times, and Carmela, Tonino and their family couldn't do more for us. The place has quirky interior in a beautifully restored building. Rooms are comfortable, well equipped and exceptionally clean.
