Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The communicating could be better. We were informed that the shuttle was outside the gate and not on the other side in the car park.
The location was close to the airport, and from the terrasse you can see the ocean and mountain, which is really nice. The beach close was really beautiful and a good place to end the trip. Easy shuttle to the airport, just across the street (however the host didn't tell us that even though they had booked it.)

Dark room. One very small window. Maid didn’t know about parking available for pay. We parked on the sidewalk. Not beachfront. No services available in this neighborhood. If you don’t have a car you will want to have your provisions and transportation needs figured out before arriving.
Didn’t stay for breakfast.

The next door room was very noisy and we didn’t sleep well as a result but this is not the fault of the owners You have to drive to get food but there are some good restaurants in very close proximity so it’s not an issue
Perfect location for the airport, very good value for money, breakfast included which as basic but more than adequate. Staff and owners very helpful and friendly

Had to wait almost 20 minutes after we arrived to be let in. Ran out of hot water during a shower.
The location and the view from the terrace where there was breakfast. The breakfast was okay.

Noise from the toilet and outside. We can hear everything Location was not so good as we expected however we did not check the sea
I chose this location because we had a night flight from Berlin. It was a mistake. Taxi costs 35 euro at 23.00 and transfer from the property was not promised. It was a possibility that we will not have any transfer because owner could not Garantie that. So we decided to go with a taxi which was very expensive It was clean and personal of the property was really nice

Climbing staircase with luggage
It was hard to find on gps but we made it. No parking at the property.?. We parked on street. We had a lot of luggage to haul up 2 flights of stairs which was difficult . One of us left luggage in car overnight as too heavy to carry upstairs. Breakfast was nice. Fresh baguette was hot out of oven. Nice cakes and fresh fruit. Fridge in room had some drinks and water which we immediately drank as so hot outside

The owner didnt arranged the transfer from airport as we agreed before coming so we ended up calling and organising ourselves. They dont speak English, if you do not speak Italian it is a problem. There was also a problem with door knob, but the owner fixed it. The biggest disadvantage is that you cannot reach it by public transfer, so it is not so convienient to use it as a sleepover near airport as we thought, it is our mistake of course. The neariest station by train or bus is 30 minutes away by walking, so you have to go by bus to airport then organise a shuttle bus for 15 euros to acommodation and the other day again 15 euros for shuttle back to airport.
Nice appartment, clean, nice terrace. The possibility to use a shuttle bus of near parking lot (50 meters) for 15 euros to airport.

We decided not to stay at the accommodation because it looked quite awful - dark, smelly rooms with low ceiling and now windows. Some construction equipment laying all around the yard. Price just too high for these condtions.

The host was very hospitable. Because we could not be there fir breakfast, she brought us some fruits when we arrived. The place was clean and comfortable. It was only few minutes drive from the PMO airport.
