Our room was on the first floor, same as reception. Every morning from 5:30am you can hear the pallet jacks and trolleys unloading stock in the grocery store below, the reverberation in our room was actually unbearable. If you are a heavy sleeper or rise early - fine. Otherwise, do steer clear.

Bed was extremely comfortable, lighting was perfect (block out blinds), breakfast is traditional Italian so don't expect a hot breakfast but plenty of pastries, cold meats and yoghurt. They also have a fruit bowl, fully equipped kitchen and fully stocked still/sparkling water in the fridge.

We stayed for 5 nights and every single morning we were woken up with chairs being dragged across a wooden floor on the floors above. We spoke to the staff who said they thought it was perhaps an office and suspected someone was cleaning. Whilst I don’t mind waking up early on holiday I’d rather it wasn’t by the awful sound. Breakfast was nice but not a huge amount of selection and we skipped it a couple of days.

Staff were fab, we were greeted by Jessica who was amazing and gave us the lowdown on Bologna. Camilla was equally amazing and so friendly and gave us some great tips. They were happy to book restaurants for us too. Fantastic location.

The staff were brilliant - very friendly and helpful! We were welcomed with a drink and the drinks and coffee available 24/7 were fantastic. Our room was lovely and the location was fantastic - very central but still very quite. We'd definitely stay here again!

A tiny thing but maybe some more savoury items at breakfast instead of sweet.

This was a fantastic place to stay in Bologna minutes walk from the iconic medieval towers that dominate the skyline you can never get lost with them to walk towards. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming we were treated like honored guests. The bedrooms are very comfortable great beds and a decent bathroom and shower all spotlessly cleaned every day. The communal area where breakfast was served is decorated in a delightful and original way and sweets and refreshments were always available. Really can't fault our stay here and would not hesitate to return.

Location is awesome . Walking distance to everywhere . Lots of restaurants . Cafe and shopping around . But most enjoyable about this hotel are the staff . Our room was small, dark and noisy. We both had difficulty sleeping as thin walls and ceiling seemed to amplify voices and footsteps late into the early morning hours.

Right beside the historic center and two towers of Bologna. The receptionist greeting us was extremely polite and helpful. The reception area was comfortable and available for breakfast and tea after dinner.

Horrible noise from the outside.

The breakfast was just ok. Pretty average, but not simple sweet Italian I don't like. Location was excellent. Close to all tourist spots , shops . I would come again unless it was too, too noisy. My room was at 1st floor and first night couldn't sleep as it was Saturday and people enjoyed being out ( to 3.30 a.m.) , but about 6 a.m. the shop under this property started with very loud preparations to open (trucks, workers bringing goods). On Sunday , early in the morning it was the same.

There wasn't hot water in the morning, lukewarm at best. The people above us started rolling things and walking around at 6am. Ceilings are thin so it woke us up.
