Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AzerbaijanYou have to consider that neighborhood can be dangerous at night. The location is a bit difficult to find.
Remind the owner if you want him NOT to clean your room before hand otherwise he will do it by default after 2 days.

CanadaI didn't like the large step coming from the bathroom into the bedroom you had to be very careful not to slip and fall. The elevator only goes to the 5th floor and the room is on the 6th floor so you need to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs but the property owner is available to help you carry your luggage if needed. There is nothing to watch on the TV unless you speak Italian. There is hand soap but no shampoo or soap included in the shower. The room is a little dingy and dark and has a little bit of a funny smell if you use the air conditioner smells a little musty
The location was very convenient for using the trains and the buses. There is a small fridge in the room

MoldovaWe really liked this place, everything was close, you could take a bus or train into the city. Convenient location right in the center of Rome. Of course, at night it looks a little creepy, I think, like in any big city in the world, we just tried to get back by 10 evening. The view from the balcony is magnificent; early in the morning you can hear the city waking up, and at night you are pleased with the noise of tourists and the lights of the streets.

IsraelThe hotel is in the sixth floor, the building has an elevator that goes only to the five floor (you should use the stairs for one floor. The elevator is very safe but it is old like other lifts in the old city (and it is a little small). You can hear noises from the door but its not annoying since it is the last floor and it is just people entering their rooms. The hotel doesn’t have a reception, the owner give us the keys and we paid for our stay inside our room so this was a little weird. There is hot water in the shower but you should open the water for 5 min before showering so it can be heated. Everything was good, we stained for 9 nights, I recommend this hotel.
This is everything about this hotel The rooms are just like the photos. The location is perfect near the central station include train, tram, buses and metro (their is also buses for the airport for just 8 euro) 24/7. A lot of restaurants around the hotel (we recommend the Chinese restaurant named “Huaweiju Restaurant” good prices and delicious food - just 2 min walk - google it. For breakfast (the hotel doesn’t have breakfast) i recommend to buy things from a supermarket named “castoro” very cheap and just 2 min walk. We where lucky that the owner give us a triple room which have a balcony (2 person rooms have only window) try to ask the owner for upgrade he is very kind. Every room has private bathroom, very comfortable beds, good size fridge, electric kettle, tv, towels, table, closet, shampoo, some palates and cutlery. The rooms are very clean, the owner cleaned the room once in two days. The area is safe but not very much at night.. I don’t recommend it for women alone that wants to stay outside for very late hours (after 00:00).

United StatesAlthough they were working on fixing this, but we did not have HOT water our whole stay and the way the room was set up, the heater air did not warm up the room properly, i think with a little rearranging of the beds and drawer it would be better. what we didnt like it seemed we were on the bad part of town.
the staff was really nice when we had an issue they were quick to answer us, the room was comfortable it had a fridge and microwave also had water and fruit, wifi, and heater. Im not sure about AC since we went during the colder weather. I liked that the location was really close to the train station it was very userful.
