Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesExceptional hosts (son and mother) with a home cooked breakfast. The location was great. We parked our car at the north parking lot and walked with ease to the apartment. The room was comfortable and the balcony was a nice addition.

United KingdomNothing worth mentioning.
Small, simple B&B with a friendly owner, Andrea. Great location - 10 min walk from bus station and near to the steps for walking down to the lower, beach part of Taormina. Excellent breakfast served on roof terrace. Room had a fridge and small balcony. Property is decorated with pretty yellow and green tiles.

AustraliaGive it was Taormina fully expected the steps inside the Casa but the 46 steps to reach it was unexpected and challenging. Fortunately Matteo was on hand to hike the luggage up and into the room (at a cost!!)
Andrea and his Mama! Very friendly and informative host. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom ticked our boxes. Great shower and hot water. Great breakfasts with the timing adjusted to meet our needs on the two mornings. Grazie!

GermanyBreakfast starts at 8:30 which is somewhat late if you have plans for the day other than doing regular sightseeing in Taormina.
Very nice and helpful owner. Breakfast is on the top floor on a terrace. WiFi works well. The B&B is very close to the bus-shuttle-stop from parking-garage Lumbi.

AustraliaThe bath towels need to be changed daily, not every three days. The steps from the street up to the property are very challenging when carrying large suitcases. Perhaps some type of trolley needs to be provided like we have seen in other places.
The location is great. Close to the centre and all the main sightseeing attractions and also bus stops to Castlemola and Giardini Naxos. The supermarket opposite was very convenient and carried a wide range of products. Andrea and Cosima were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

AustraliaI recommend that you don’t bring a large luggage like we did, just a medium size would have been better for us as you have to carry up the stairs
Andrea as a host was fantastic. He gave us great tips on where to go and what to see. He even booked beach chairs. Cosima’s omelettes were the best. We were also given a sweet treat everyday. We were full for the rest of the day with the breakfast provided.

United KingdomA little disppointed we couldn't see more of the sea from the terrace.
We stayed in Casa Andrea with 2 other couples and as the B&B only has 3 rooms we had the whole house to ourselves. We very much enjoyed staying in Casa Andrea. The house is very well situated within minutes of the town centre. It is also within minutes of the shuttle stop where you arrive from the Lumbi car park should you drive to Taormina. It is a small B&B on four flours one bedroom per floor and kitchen/terrace at the top with a limited view of the sea. We stayed on the third floor in a pleasant room with a small balcony. The shower cubicle was small but adequate for us. The room on the second floor has a bigger bathroom amd also a small balcony. The room on the ground is a nice size too with a larger bathroom but the windows look straight onto the street and have frosted glasswith no balcony. Note that it is not a house for people with walking problems as you have to climb a lot of stairs. Our host Andrea is wonderful and very welcoming. He made sure we were all happy and answered all our queries. Andrea and his team cooked us a great breakfast every morning. We enjoyed their fresh omelets Pistachio croissants brilliant cappucini and every morning a little surprise. I would happily go back there. Thank you so much.

United KingdomAll perfect. Would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room for when coming in later, though in truth, that's more of a European issue rather than personal to Casa Andrea.
Andrea is the absolute perfect host and gentleman. Friendly, helpful, able to personalise breakfast - a fantastic pistachio pastry from an equally nice omlete, but the pastry more my thing! The villa/b&b is beautifully charming in a great central location - breakfast on the terrace with views over the Mediterranean. Steps up to the accommodation - but wouldn't be Taormina without steps!

AustraliaYou have to take upstairs/downstairs from the street to accommodation and even inside the building, but I guess a lot of B&B’s in Taormina are the same.
Location is really good. Everything such as shops, restaurants, bus stops is just nearby. We could see beautiful sunrise from balcony. Andrea, owner of this B&B, is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple but good enough.

What a surprise. A nice little room, a bit away from all the buzz of the sometimes heavily touristed Taormina, and yet with a small balcony with a view to a little strech of ocean. Nice little rooftop terrace where a good breakfast was served. Extremely helpsome host.
