Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThere's nothing to complaint. Only suggestion: can have bigger rubbish bins in the room. But we put our big rubbish directly to the bin in the building.
Great location, can walk to Trevi fountain or Spanish steps within 15 mins. Close to many good restaurants. 2 mins walk from metro station. Staffs are friendly and helpful. We need both keys and passwords to enter the building and room. That makes us feel secured. Our family room has enough room for parents with 2 young kids and one big suitcase. If we are all 4 adults, it'll be quite tight (one of the bed is shorter). There are also some lounge areas and terrace which give us space when kids are sleeping. We can use the TV for streaming YouTube. Free WiFi works well. Overall the room had great value and we enjoyed the stay.

United StatesTV was not working, but not a huge deal.
Mario at the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful. He recommended places to visit during our stay and nearby eateries as well. Rome is a big city and he definitely made us feel welcomed. The location was near the metro and was within walkable distances to restaurants, small shops, the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain, roughly half a mile from the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

United KingdomThe property has a small elevator that is manually operated. Unfortunately on two of our four nights other guest failed to close the doors leaving the elevator stuck on that floor, and we had to walk up. This may be a problem for less able guests. Absolutely this isn’t the fault of the hotel, but inconsiderate guests.
The staff are absolutely amazing, friendly and informative. Rooms are plenty big enough, well maintained and cleaned daily. The location is excellent with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. A great authentic local breakfast cafe just across the piazza. In just a few minutes you can walk to Trevi!

United KingdomALL staff were very friendly, even though the room was compact it was perfectly fine for the 2 of us to come back to after a long day of exploring. The room was warm and comfy, private bathroom was good with shower, toilet and sink. Hotel was in a really good location, only 10/15 minutes walk to Spanish steps and trevi fountain, 25/30 minute walk to colosseum and 50 minute walk to Vatican City. Lots of lovely restaurants to walk to. Weather was not hot so did not have to use air con.

IrelandThere was a late check in charge which seemed quite excessive just not to be included in overall price initially. it is more annoying to have to keep paying additional amounts after check in. Also felt there were lots of hidden expensive charges which should have just been included in the initial prices. We thought breakfast was included had one croissant and then owner hit us with a 18euro bill for a croissant. would have got out and got one for a euro - albeit it was our mistake but also felt like another charge the hotel could not wait to give. on booking.com booked a room with a bath and paid for it and this was not what we got when we arrived - “subject to availability”

CanadaLots of maintenance and upkeep issues. Not the most luxurious spot, but it gets the job done for a place to stay close to the Rome hotspots!
Mario and the receptionists were amazing. Had a few issues at first, and they were super accommodating, fixed everything to our liking and communication was top notch. Super close to everything you need!

CanadaThe room had a smell of dampness caused from Water damage. That needs to be looked at and perhaps room needs to be renovated because there is definitely water coming in from Somewhere which can lead to mold.

United StatesBreakfast was just a croissant and coffee. We were told by a rude staff that we could only take one croissant even though there were many other options like cereals and fruits. Our room 307 was in need of remodeling.
