Lights in the bathroom are on a movement sensed timer. When in the shower, you aren’t under the sensor so I ended up showering in the dark most of the time. Also no locks on the toilets

That there was no distinct common room or kitchen, so no fridge and nowhere to keep food. You're not allowed food in the room and I get that because I saw ants around, but not every traveller there will be eating out for every meal. I think it's something they should think about in future, especially when it's £60+ a night.

I loved the rooms - I was only sharing with 2 other girls and we had single beds (no bunks!!) and the air con worked well! Our view was pretty good too. The location was excellent, I could walk to the forum within 20 minutes :)

Some of the toilets would be out of the toilet paper rolls so it's be good to stock up on it or use larger rolls.

I really liked the location - it's very close to the charming Trastevere area with great atmosphere and plenty of great reataurants around. The hostel itself is also located in a very nice old building with a pretty garden and a reataurant underneath. The hostel was quiet, with plenty of space, good wi-fi and quite comfortable beds. The rooms were not crowded and I could actually sleep very well, which is not often the case in hostels. The bathrooms were also quite decent.

The elevator is broken, the men's and women's restrooms are shared. Made me feel uncomfortable, the small shower had no place to hang things. There is a place hanging outside the shower. After showering, you have to step out naked to get a towel. That makes me feel insulted. I had to wait in the bathroom until there was no one there and run out to get a towel quickly. How terrible!

Showers were horrible- so small, no were to put anything and no space to dry off. Also had to push the button to make the water run every 30 seconds. No common kitchen but you could use a kettle and the staff allowed me to keep some stuff in their fridge.

Hard to find once you enter the main gate. There are many other doors and two levels in the courtyard. Once you enter, you need to head right. The first entrance on the second level. Breakfast was available for extra payment, but little in the way of healthy or vegan available.

Clean. Spacious. no kitchen that you can use, but they allowed me to put something in their fridge and use a knife.

The cleanliness could be better.

It is a Hostel in a very special location in a former villa, which was later used as Hospital. By the way, a visit of the small church on the backside of the Hostel is very recommended. We had Hotel rooms with two beds and integrated shower and WC, which were very good for the Price, spacy and with view on the Tiber. Recommended when you accept that you are in an old Building. Excellent Italien Restaurants are in walking distance and the Circus Maximus is very close.

Amazing location and the vila itself looks enchanting. The staff was helpful and pleasant, the rooms clean and with everything you need provided or an ask away. Best part is you can come and go any time, because the staff is there 24h. I enjoyed my stay very much.

I had difficulty finding the hostel. There is no big sign. The room had noise from traffic - the only thing I found challenging.

Beautiful property, especially the gardens. No bunk beds but proper single beds. High ceiling rooms. Bathroom facilities clean. Location fantastic, very close to the river and restaurants.

The elevator didn't work. In the room there was no lamp, television or minibar which made the room very empty. In the bathroom they did not provide soap, shampoo, shower cap or anything. To take a shower, I had to press a button every 2 minutes, which made showering difficult, especially when washing my hair.

Liked everything, you feel in Italy beautiful architecture and garden, very comfortable beds, clean, big rooms with high ceilings and huge windows, lockers, hot water, near restaurants and walkable to all to be seen, great neighbourhood, staff very nice and helpful.
