ItalyAbsolutely gorgeous place, to go back to as a couple, not with the kids. For all the families that were there they could definitely make it a little more family friendly. Kids can’t use the Spa after a long ski day, Spa isn’t even included in the hotel price so budget it as an extra. Both in house restaurants were excellent, and the breakfast was fresh and abundant. Staff were very friendly and competent. Just too bad for the not so friendly “family” policy coming from management, otherwise would have been perfect.

Beautiful environment, historical and clean rennovated room, convenient access to the room by a car. The terrace is perfect for a glass of wine! The staff were very helpful and arranged for us a visit to bell manufacturer in Agnone.

LuxembourgI love the concept of converting the old village houses into a hotel complex. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. I liked very much the breakfast area, where I enjoyed excellent views over the surrounding mountains. The room itself was quite comfortable, however it had first signs of ageing (like couch in the entrance). The breakfast was tasty and made from local ingredients.

The place is just perfect. A very quirky old village just converted to a high standard hotel. They managed to keep the original charm of the small cottages but with a complete modernisation. They are comfortable, warm and cozy. The staff was just perfect and being able to help with any request we had. They also provided a babysitting service last minute for 7 kids, which was amazing! The spa is just the cherry on top

FranceTheir airconditionner was not working well. Since it is the first year they installed the airconditionner - so I was told - it seems not enough for these hot days in Italia.
The breakfast was beautifully presented and everything were good and fresh. Restaurant staffs were really kind and attentive: all their plates are meat based but when we told them we are vegetarian chef made a wonderful full course meal for us. Thanks

Nothing. The room was cramped, one small window onto the road outside. Food truly terrible. The ravioli was so gritty I sent it back. The waitress tried to convince me it was truffle. I’ve never had gritty truffle ever. One other occupied table in this deserted restaurant, but they have a no dogs policy. So in an empty restaurant in an empty village they uphold this odd policy. This is a development on the edge of a decaying village. Didn’t even try breakfast. Yet they get good reviews. All I can say is that their guests have exceedingly low expectations.

United KingdomRoom was ‘shabby’ in need of redecoration; cracks in wall, patches of damp/discoloured paint,dust, cobwebs, spider in kitchen area. Spa swimming pool had mould all around window, peeling plaster, large window cracked glass, dirty windows. Automatic doors wouldn’t open, steam room not working. Having to listen to an angry chef berate the staff one night. Was not advised in advance of building work taking place.
Frontline staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing suitable on the menu so chef was willing to accommodate, would be better to have different diet options on the menu in the first place. it’s the management/directors who hold the purse strings who don’t want to spend the money on making improvements
