The location at the foot of the Vesuvio, the view of the ocean, the coast of Sorrento and Capri, the kindness of Signora Mariana and her going above and beyond, made our stay at Bosco Mattavano unforgettable. The beautiful garden with lots of herbs, flowers and towering maritime pine trees, were amazing. The rooms have everything you need and are very functional and impeccably clean. The breakfast in the morning delivered by Signora Mariana in picknick baskets was a nice touch. We wished we had more time to stay and explore the area. Grazie mille!

Love it all!

This place is amazing! The Bosque cottage house near the Vulcan is super calm and relaxed, with everything you need for comfortable living. It's located in a very quiet area, making it the perfect retreat after a busy day exploring Naples and the surrounding areas. We went on day trips to Amalfi, Naples, and Pompei, and returning to the BOSCO Mattavona B&B was a relief. The host is lovely and helpful, and there are cute dogs around. I highly recommend it! The bed is comfortable, and there's a fridge and microwave available. The shower is great, and breakfast is made with love 😍 The area is safe, with good parking available, which is essential if you're traveling by car. There's a nice exterior area where you can watch the sky or sunset with a beautiful view. The surrounding area has good restaurants, and we had the best pizza at PRISCO Pizza. You definitely need to check this place out!

The garden was huge and pretty. It had pretty trees but also great view to the volcano and to the sea. There were only a few other rooms so it was quite private. A nice breakfast on the terrace which included eggs and bacon! What an unusual treat in Italy :) Inside the room there was a spacious fridge.

The stay at Bosco Mattavona was amazing! The host Marianna and her son were super friendly and the room was cleaned every day. The view from the room was spectacular. The strawberries as a present for our honeymoon were very much appreciated.

The complex was beautiful and very well looked after. We enjoyed having breakfast outside on the terrace. And we could get to Vesuvius and Pompeii easily.

The internet coverage in our room was a bit slow.

Marianna is extremely kind and helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. We liked the fact that our room was cleaned and our bed made for us every day. It is a really beautiful location with a view of the bay and of Vesuvius.

The property is absolutely incredible! The outdoor area is a green paradise, and the host Marianna is kind and very hospitable. The rooms are fully new and well equipped with all necessities and even a stocked mini fridge! We mostly loved how beautiful the linnen and towels smelled! The breakfast was lovely and of our choice, and even a second day cleanup was offered by the host! All in all b&b Bosco Mattavona is an absolutely amazing place to stay and we would reccomend it to anyone coming to the area around Napoli!

There are wonderful local restaurants in the area for dinner. These serve regional delicacies and wines. They are a short walk away. The local village is slightly further.

A truly exceptional stay at a spectacular property. Stunning sunsets and sunrises and the highest level of care from Marianna and her son Francesco. The breakfast was amazing and made more special for us, as we were celebrating a birthday.

Everything was perfect. Marianna and her family are the perfect hosts, they made sure we felt good and had everything we needed. The location is superb, quiet, beautiful view over the island of Capri. They guided us on the tourist attractions to see.

Nothing major, everything was perfect :) Just maybe some very small things like for the breakfast some fruits and something salty like eggs. It would also be great to have a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. A black-out curtain on the door would be nice to make the room dark at night.

The place is brand new. It is located next to the Vesuvio, in a nice garden which has is very relaxing. It is also a nice place to stay if you want to visit Pompei. The room was new, perfectly clean, smelt good and had everything we needed. The host was very kind and welcoming. Thanks for the small gift:) There is a restaurant in the street, at walking distance.

So lovely place, so beautiful location, at the bottom of Vesuv you can find a paradise on the Earth. Large garden, trees, "incredible" owner, tasty breakfast and a lovely guardian Lola :)
