Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Parking was little bit challenging but there is a guarded garage aroiund the corner where we paid about 36 EUR per night

Alessandro, THANK YOU! We've really enjoyed our stay. The location of the guest house is optimal. Even though we were in Milano in the middle of beauty week, this area of the city was very quiet. It's just a few minutes of walking to the metro and 3-4 stations to the center. 10-12 minutes in total and you are in front of Duomo. The guest house is beautifully renovated with a certain charm to it. Alessandro took great care of us and made our stay warm and memorable, Thank you, Alessandro for everything!

Difficult to park if there are no free parks on the street. We had to go to a parking station for 20 euros for the night.
Very cosy and comfortable. Sandro was most helpful with information. Lovely breakfast in the room.

Nothing no complaints at all. Host can not do enough for his customers.
Cozy place , fantastic breakfast, warm and welcoming host. Close to bus and train. Safe neighborhood. Charming and intimate and quiet at night, very clean. Flawless customer service. Highly recommend!

Very nice place nice decor 👌 very Italy 🇮🇹 host was spot on location was great for me nice food around the area obviously being Italy 🇮🇹 all but good reviews here. I should no too as I travel all over Europe for work stay in many places give it ago u won't be disappointed

A little away from the attractions but easily accessible by the metro

The area is safe, but cars have been broken into recently. There are, however, plenty of parking options in the area. To get to the centre, just take the metro which takes you to the Duomo within 15 minutes.
The rooms of this small guesthouse on the fifth floor of a large building are beautifully designed and very comfortable. Alessandro Pattini prepares espresso when we arrive — very nice indeed.

Sandro was a very friendly and supporting host. He served coffee directly when we came. The apartment is clean and beautiful decorated. The Metro is close by and by that you are in 15 min at the main station. Parking Garage is close by too but you need to count around 30€ per 24 hours

Sandro was really gentleman. He is so helpful and makes your trip easier. Guest House has a warm atmosphere, you will feel at home. My room was so pleasant and clean. The subway is within walking distance. Parking area is available, that was perfect for me. Thank you! Hope to be there again.
