Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The lady at Reception couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. It was the best reception experience we've had since arriving in Italy. It is about 7 mins walk to the centre of Anacapri.

Rita was a fantastic host and helped us plan our trips round capri. The hotel is in a lovely secluded spot less than 10 minutes stroll from the centre of Anacapri and was very comfortable.

Breakfest was quite poor . It was quite far from the city center.
Personal was very frendly and helpful. They offered transfer to bus stop. Capri boat costal tour was with discount price and it was almost like a private tour.

No view from the room.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Traveling with small children, their recommendations for things to do and the ride to the square were much appreciated. Our room was comfortable, and spotless, and we liked the layout of two separate rooms with a sliding door that could be closed. The little terrace outside was cute. the location a bit outside of the town made things nice and quiet.

Room, amenities, AC, bathroom.
The staff was just amazing, nice and accommodating. Breakfast was great. But it's the most expensive place I've stayed in the entire trip and least comfortable/worth it. Room was outdated, AC was centrally managed and not cold enough. Some of the basic amenities were missing.

Quite far from the town, extremely difficult to find. No signs. Pool and most of the rooftop terrace was closed. Bathroom and particularly shower was small.
Size of the room was okay, hotel looked nice from the inside, room was clean, breakfast was included

The bed was very uncomfortable and the hotel was hard to find with our scooter rental. It was farther from Capri than I thought.

A/C could have been more effective. Limited bar facilities. Only minor comments for us as we enjoyed walking into town.
Beautifully decorated. Staff were very friendly. Location is great. Breakfast was nice. They give you a lift to the bus stop, which was really helpful.

it was a last minute booking and reviews sounded ok. the staff were super friendly and helpful but I thought it was expensive for what it was.
good location very close to Anacapri. it had a balcony which was a nice touch.

Room was a bit outdated and small. Bathroom, specially shower, was very small. Taxis could not get to the hotel entrance. There's a 5 minute walk from where taxi left us. But hotel offered transportation to and from taxi stop.

AC not that effective and room was a bit tight for 3 but OK for a short stay.
Rita was absolutely amazing. She could not do enough for us, really good English, great tips on what to see and where to go. Good breakfast.

1) This shouldn’t be considered a hotel, more like rooms in the middle of a village, location is extremely bad. 2) The hotel mentioned that they had shuttle services that would drop us to the nearest bus stations at any time (just like other hotels in the area), only to get rude treatment/ a warning/ yelled at for asking the shuttle to drop us as they mentioned they only use it for check-in or check-out guests. 3) On our check-out date they dropped us to a bus station which was closed and they stopped answering any calls or messages from us, we were lucky enough to be the last passengers to board our ferry to Napoli which we nearly missed. (attached photo) 4) Anacapri and Capri itself is a beautiful place and we will definitely be visiting many times, but not staying with Hotel Bussola for sure.

long walk from the main road. no pool and the bathroom was tight fitting with shower, toilet and sink crammed into a small area making it hard to use the toilet the shower was so close...

Transport not easy to get there taxi expensive Bus ok if there is no accident orherwise You ho down to capri by foot and suitcases all the stairs like we did
