I cannot think of anything that could have been better.

Beautifully designed hotel throughout with a lovely internal courtyard garden and also tables outside overlooking the lagoon which are perfect for an evening aperitif. Very good service from all of the staff including front of house; at breakfast and in the beautiful bar. Very good buffet style breakfast with a wide choice of fresh food and fab patisserie. Great location - easy walk to St Mark's but also close to vaporetto stops and close to a slightly more peaceful part of the city and the Arsenale. The hotel also has its own pier so we were able to arrive directly from the airport by water taxi. Really a first rate hotel all round.

Great location, a bit of peace and quiet in a crazy busy place. Facilities first class, room was superb. Staff were just the right sort of attentive. Excellent bar with a decent whisky selection which was a surprise for Italy.

The best thing about this hotel are the staff: warm, welcoming, incredibly helpful! The location is excellent. It is relatively quiet for Venice, and yet just a few minutes from St Mark's square and next to the Arsenale vaporetto stop. The bedrooms are peaceful and well thought out with everything you would expect from a luxury hotel. The beds deserve a comment - huge and extremely comfortable.

Location and Service (warm, friendly, efficient)! The hotel is excellently located for discovering Venice, especially if like me, Venice is still unfamiliar and if one's preference is for a more local feel of things. The water taxi from the airport stops at Arsenal, which is the stop right in front of the hotel's main entrance. So if arriving at night, it is quite impossible to get lost, even if everything appears dark and foreboding. Its location along the water front affords some atmospheric views as well. It is an easy walk to the popular sites, and yet turn off the main thoroughfare, and one is given a glimpse of local life, away from the tourist-crowd.

Excellent hotel, top level services, very nice interior design entirely redone by a talented architect, in an old and very known Venice hospice. Location is perfect to explore Venice, very near to the Piazza San Marco but not in a too crowded place. Beds are very confortable, bedroom food is excellent (one of the best I ever had), included visit to Murano by free taxi boat is also a plus. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend

The only tiny improvement could be the breakfast. For those not taking the buffet the choice was slim and expensive (a small bowl of porridge was 20€ / soy latte 10€)

One small area for improvement may be the reception desk. It was quite small, which slightly undermined the first impression. Incorporating a design that reflects the hotel’s rich history could enhance the overall ambiance. I didn’t opt for the breakfast, as I typically don’t have breakfast, but I did find the prices for breakfast and room service to be a bit high. However, considering it’s a five-star hotel, this is understandable.

I recently stayed at Ca’ di Dio in Venice and was thoroughly impressed. I was kindly upgraded to a junior suite which was a pleasant surprise! The room was beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully considered, offering amenities I haven’t encountered even in other five-star establishments. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The staff, both at the reception and the bar, were incredibly kind and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Grazie Matteo and the whole team! The hotel’s ambiance is enriched by authentic historical paintings and statues, creating a unique atmosphere. Its location by the river offers a great view and is conveniently situated right in front of the Arsenale vaporetto stop. It’s also very close to the Doge’s Palace, though perhaps a bit farther from the city center. During my January stay, I noticed that after 9 PM, the streets in the immediate neighborhood were quite empty, and it was challenging to find open places to dine or have drinks. This might not be the case during the summer months. I had hoped to visit the spa but couldn’t find the time. I would love to return and experience more of what this exceptional hotel has to offer.

A truly perfect boutique hotel with stunning views of Venice! Although it wasn’t our first time visiting the city, staying at this hotel made us fall in love with it all over again. The hotel is beautifully stylish, features a charming garden (which must be wonderful to enjoy during the warmer months), and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The next time we’re in Venice, we’ll definitely be staying here again!
