Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room gets warm/stuffy and the window won’t stay open.

Bed was good, but slightly slanted mattress so rolled a bit to center.
Great Location. 10 minutes walk to City center, 5 minute walk to Termini and about 10 to Colosseum. Lots of eateries in the same street as hotel. Staff are great! Good value for money.

Very noisy
Really good location, loads of restaurants and bars within 10-15 minute walk, bed was comfy and towels big, bed made every day and fresh towels if needed

Maybe a little bar but there’s some lovely places nearby so probably not needed.
Great location to explore Rome. Lovely little cafe at the end of the street for breakfast.

Perfect location in a silent street (Coliseum just few minutes away; if you're a walker you can also reach everything else, except maybe Vatican, on foot). Lots of places for morning coffee and evening dinner nearby. Also, a supermarket next door. Nice roof-top terrace available to all guests. Friendly staff. Room was super small but clean (in any case, you come to Rome not to sit in the hotel room:)

The room and bathroom was a bit dated, need a bit of TLC. Lift is very tiny, so it could be a problem for a bigger person or lots of luggage, The little kettle with tea or coffee in the room would be great (or maybe coffee/tea machine in the hallway?).
Good stay in a perfect location. Walking distance to many Rome attraction and Metro/Termini station with 5min walk. Quiet street. Staff at the hotel very welcoming and helpful. Rooms ok, with basic equipment - but we got everything we needed, Comfy bed, daily housekeeping. Clean and tidy.

The room we were staying at had a problem with mold. There's no kettle in the room.

Safe not working, showers do not have a place(shelf) to put the soap or shampoo. Also, not many outlets to plug your phones.
Location! very close to Termini Train Station and walking distance to a lot of Rome attractions. Great restaurants down the street. Very close to Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.

The lights near the bed, they have only one electric switch, very unconfortable

This little hotel is in an excellent location near Termini, Santa Maria Maggiore and Rione Monti. There are many shops, markets, bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel is as described.

On the site, the prices for 1 person and 2 people for the exact same room were exactly the same. Only the city tax was changing. I wanted to keep it for 2 people, but I entered the information for 1 person. When I went there and said that 1 more person would come, they were asked for an extra 50 euros and I had to pay. I was saddened to see that there was no difference between the price online for 1 person and 2 people.
The location of the hotel, the help of the staff and the cleanliness were generally good. There are lots of good people in hotel. Thank you for your helping.

Excellent location only a short walk from the train station and to the main attractions. Andreas and Magda were very welcoming and always very helpful The hotel had a lift which was very handy as we had heavy luggage

There was construction across the street, but not a major problem. To my knowledge, the restaurant in the hotel was not open. Having a place to have a drink or grab a bite would have been nice.
This hotel was well located and clean. The room was small but adequate. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good - walking distance to most major attractions, and lots of good restaurants in the area.

Kettle in the room for tea would have been nice.
Excellent location. Very good restaurants nearby. Girls at reception very helpful and welcoming. Very clean and had a very enjoyable stay. Supermarket beside hotel which was very handy. Hotel sent a what's app video with code for getting into the room as we were arriving late, this was very helpful.
