Lovely hotel. Firstly the communication and check in was informative, friendly and very welcoming. Both Luigi and Francesco were fantastic hosts and provided excellent recommendations and assistance with organising activities. We thought the location was great - lots of restaurants closeby and we enjoyed the walk down (and uphill) from the beach - very manageable. The breakfast was very substantial and good quality and was lovely to enjoy on the balcony. The room itself was spacious and clean and we had a wonderful view looking out over the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The location was wonderful- easy access to the city center and one of the first places along the one way road in positano which was very nice. Breakfast was amazing- food delivered to your room every morning The brothers who run it were so kind and helpful. Let us borrow umbrellas, arranged transportation, provided restaurant recommendations! The staff cleans your room very nicely every day as well!

The place is absolutely amazing. The room is a perfect size, and its view made us feel like we were in a fairytale. Breakfast is served in the room, and allows you to have it right in front of the fantastic view of the village and sea. Lastly, I have to mention the hosts, Francesco and Luigi, who are super friendly and helpful, sharing their peaceful and relaxing vibe, along with practical pieces of advice.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon in the room with the shared terrace. The terrace is shared only in the sense that other guests from two other rooms access the terrace to get to and from their rooms. We stayed here for 3 nights in their busiest month of the year and not once did we see other guests on the terrace. Breakfast was brought to the terrace each morning and we ate it privately, enjoying the massive terrace and views, even spent some time there during sunset just the two of us, it felt like our own private giant terrace. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was huge! Everything was clean and all the necessary amenities were provided. There is a mini fridge in the room with free water bottles and juice. The main entrance is directly on the street, allowing for easy drop-off/pick-up. We were dropped off by the door and only had to carry our luggage down one flight of stairs to our room, unlike most places in Positano. The beach is approximately 700 stairs from the property, takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the beach. Breakfast exceeded our expectations, there were so many options and the food was fantastic. Francesco and Luigi were both extremely helpful, provided many suggestions during our stay, including restaurants that were fantastic considering we did not make any reservations prior.

Beautiful rooms and balcony where they served you a lovely breakfast every day. Location was perfect to have the views but also pretty good accessibility to everything including restaurants just on the road below and then the main beach and port. Positioned on the main road so easy access to the internal bus and easy drop off with luggage too. Staff were wonderful from start to finish and nothing we asked for was ever too much.

The great location and views, very clean and a healthy fresh breakfast each morning from the comfort of my balcony. Francesco and Luigi were so accomodating way before my trip even started, arranging my transfers and tours, being a female solo traveller I was made to feel so welcome and every request was met with a smile. I highly recommend Casa Nilde and will definitely stay here again.

Super friendly and helpful guest house owners (Luigi and Francesco), incredibly helpful with restaurant bookings, beach club bookings etc that we weren’t able to get into online! A lovely small guesthouse with only a handful of rooms - very characterful in style and super comfy. The most spectacular view out of the larger double rooms with breakfast served here every morning. Great location only 15 mins walk from the main beach. We had a very comfortable stay and would return!!

We stayed here on our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay! It was in a great location with about a 10 minute walk to the beach. What we enjoyed most was how friendly and helpful Francesco and Luigi were! They gave a lot of helpful tips and recommendations that were great. We enjoyed getting to know them and to learn about Positano. The service was fantastic and rooms were very clean. Located close to a lot of great restaurants. Would highly recommend!
