We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hungaryright in the city center, close to the historical part of Bari and the main shopping street and all the restaurants. the interior and design of the rooms was so chic. parquet on the floor, new facilities. you open the door by the link from your phone. this was so awesome! the balcony has a nice view. super convenient cattle and tea and coffee.

PolandThe place is located on another street than marked on their booking website and on google maps. It is literally a different street, so I spend a lot of time searching for the correct address and trying to get inside the wrong doors. The check in via an app is terrible, first you have to give your personal details to a website you don’t know, when you arrive you can only get inside via a website. once you finally get in, you find out that the place is just a big apartment, where you get a room with a bathroom outside of it. it is private, but you need to leave your room to go there. the room is locked automatically,’so each time you leave it you have to get the key and a phone (just in case). But what’s the worst is the customer service - there is none! I tried calling the place when I couldn’t find the address, and it turned out they don’t work on weekends (I arrived on Saturday). so if anything happens on a weekend, you get no help. I also asked about a possibility of storing a luggage before my arrival, they told me that it wasn’t a problem. but when I tried contacting them when I was there, I got no reply till now. seriously, there are better options in Bari, especially at this price.
The room and the bathroom were very clean. the localization was good, between the train station and the historic center. it was nice to have a kettle in the room.

United KingdomThe way the check-in works is unacceptable! I would have never booked this room, had I known I would need the internet to open my room. Maybe it is good for some young and modern people, but I know that if something can fail, it usually does. I think if the enter to the hotel can be only done via internet, we should know about it before making a booking.
The location is ok, the whole place was clean, a bit weird that the bathroom was outside the room. The lady I spoke to over the phone was nice and helpful.
