Front desk Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a nice variety. Dinner at the restaurant was very good as was the service. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the cloister. Large parking lot. we loved the town of Volterra. so much to see and enjoy. And this was a great place to stay

It’s one of the best places I used with Booking as far as good value for money was concerned. The view of the inner garden from our window was amazing. The place was comfortable and very peaceful. Also the restaurant is very good there.

Biggest issue by far was mosquitoes - both myself and my son suffered numerous bites in the room, even though it was end of October (although the weather was exceptionally warm) - definitely bring some repellent. Breakfast also could do with some actual juice (even from concentrate) plus perhaps a little fruit, although it was otherwise good.

Really nice helpful staff, excellent location, characterful building, good value for money. This is a great place to stay, with nice rooms and particularly relaxed staff. We had a late arrival and the lady on reception couldn't have been more accommodating.

Location , we arrived after evening and saw some statues which scared us a bit as there were still no lights in the streets before arriving in the Hostel. Just the only thing bad to mention .

Staff were helpful during the stay and the facility had free parking. Rooms were tidy and bathroom was big . Bed was comfy and the buffet was great in the morning.

The walk to town was quite strenuous with steep steps and not especially well lit off the main road past the hospital after dark. While not an issue for us exactly, it would have been worth being aware of in advance.

Very characterful place, wonderful views. Quite comfortable. Quiet location. Private parking either near the entrance or on the other side of the building.

From our room (room 8) we had a beautiful view on the tower of the monastery. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was big and clean, the parking lot was free and the city center of Volterra is 20 min walking away. So it is a really good place to stay.

It's a bit far away from the center of the town; but it is fine for a walk :)

The place is super cool! It is very good quality-price; we needed to arrive quite late and the attention of the check in was perfect. Is a very nice place and the room is super cozy and good size.
