We liked everything... We just didn't have hand wash soap in the bathroom and a disposable shower cap just in case someone needed one.

Room was as described and as in the photos shown. It is kept well and with care. There is also a restaurant which we highly recommend! The garden outside has a glass structure where we had breakfast in the mornings and it is also open for a light lunch and for cocktails in the evening. You can walk around onto paths through hundreds of lemon trees. I used to go for a walk with my dog every morning! The people at the agriturismo love pets! The receptionist was exceptionally kind and friendly, always there when needed.

Breakfast was lovely (with superb coffee) but was similar most days , so might be boring for some people.

Beautiful building with a courtyard setting for some of the rooms and reception - reminded us of an old movie scene! Lovely staff, helped create a relaxed atmosphere. Pool was a good size and great fun. Some lovely simple biking trails from the hotel to a simple beach was a highlight. Avola had some nice restaurants and gelato places. Room and whole place nice and clean and well maintained.

Wonderfully renovated and kept cozy place with beautiful outdoor spaces. Very friendly and helpful staff. Paulo, in particular, does a wonderful job as a host. Although the beach is not too close, the walk through the citrus grove is very pleasant. I would not hesitate to go again, and can recommend with no caveats.

Beautiful buildings, delicious breakfast, nice pool area amidst lemon trees. The pool is large and deep. Our apartment was spacious, and well equipped. Great outside area with furniture, where we ate our dinner. There is a restaurant in the neighboring building- we only bought pizza - but they were delicious and reasonably priced. The location is good with easy access to the highway. We had a wonderful holiday - and will certainly return 👍😃👏

Fully renovated with some additional bungalows, the place is really charming sit in the middle of lemon trees. All staff are really pleasant and helpful. The restaurant is just excellent with a large choice of local wines. Dishes are all to die for. And, exceptionally I tried their pizzas; just the best I had recently. The beach is not too far and accessible with bicycles available for free. I can only recommend this place.

The room temperature was high overnight because air-conditioning didn't work very effectively, it was set at too high a lower temperature for us.

It felt like we were guests at a private villa. Service was excellent. The location was very restful. Paulo's cocktails were excellent.

My stay at Chiusa Di Carlo was an unforgettable experience. I spent a week there with my family and I couldn't think of a better place to relax. The location of the property is ideal, surrounded by beautiful countryside and yet close to all the necessary amenities. The flats are spacious, clean and well equipped and very tastefully decorated. A huge plus for the comfortable beds and the private terrace where we enjoyed coffee and the view of the citrus trees every morning. The property also offers a large swimming pool, which was a great place to spend hot summer days. Bicycles are available at the property which can be used to reach the beach of Capo Negro in 7 minutes, This is a lovely corner, not many tourists, a rocky beach with clear warm water but worth a visit. The hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful - we felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. All in all, Chiusa Di Carlo is a place we will definitely return to. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable holiday in a beautiful and peaceful setting.

We really liked the location, the venue itself as it is beautifully immersed in an oasis of peace and green (lemon and olive trees all around), close to the sea. The property is an old Masseria that has been revisited, it has swimming pool and very helpful staff. We can’t but recommend!

Honestly I cannot think of anything that could be done better. It had a lovely ambience and tranquility.Such beautiful surroundings.

The breakfast buffet was exceptional and the staff very helpful and charming. There was plenty of food.

The bed in room Arancieta (single use) was very law and not practical to step in (so not for older people) All the rest was ok

Breakfast extremely good, but a pitty we get no fresh orange juice. Personal very friendly and helpful. Also the swimming pool was big and clean to spend a sunny day when too hot temperatures.

Charging a full adults price for a 6 year old to eat breakfast is just silly! Very poor WiFi. Only very limited room cleaning unless you paid extra
